Dishonest, incompetent, the last 18 months have been infuriating stressful and costly, systemic failures in their property management team, did not manage the property licensing process, Help2 Rent tenant, let the H2R rent guarantee expire, so no rent cover and tenant in significant arrears, a personal data breach, lost keys, among a litany of failures. Avoid this company at all costs look around do t be fooled by the size of this company, it’s size dwarfs its ability to manage a single property with competence or integrity.

While in the process of purchasing a property i had my mortgage adviser and solicitor, but the agent pressured me into using their services by stating multiple times on the phone the seller would rather the buyer use their services. After the third time i was pressured into saying yes because in all the telephone conversations i was not getting anywhere until I said yes.The mistake I made was having all this conversation in a telephone conversation instead of emails. Their complaint department just threw the case under the bus because I had no evidence and their telephone conversations were not recorded.I avoid this company and their services.

GoogleDidn't have a great experience with this estate agency. Firstly, one of the agents couldn't get access to the property for viewing. Another agent had to step in, but unfortunately he didn't know much about the property (especially about what furniture belong to the tenant, and what will be there for us when we move in). Turned out that most of the furniture belonged to the previous tenant. We asked for the flat to be professionally cleaned, it wasn't cleaned at all. We were unable to check the standard of redecorating in the bathroom (only shown poor quality pictures) and paint started to come off after two weeks. When signing the contract, they forgot to tell us to set up standing order for rent (only hid the form within email attachments and post which we didn't go through as we thought it's the same as what we've been shown while signing the contract). When we discovered that rent hasn't been collected and reported it, we were treated like it's our fault. During the whole process we were dealing with three different agents. I don't recommend it.

GoogleI found my first rental in London thanks to Tom and Jerome and was very satisfied with the quality and efficiency of the service provided. They had several nice flats in the area I was interested in, and the small tour to visit them all allowed me to quickly get an idea of what was possible to get within my budget. I'm happy to recommend them.

GoogleHaving dealt with many lettings agents during our 6 week long search I can honestly say that Bairstow Eves in Lavender Hill, in particular the manager Luis and the negotiator Veekesh outshone the competition by a mile. They were thorough, informative, listened to our requirements and on their recommendation we viewed a property that was perfect for us. Throughout the process they have been informative, kind and very patient thoroughly explaining the process, avoiding jargon at all times. I would absolutely recommend them as an agent to rent through but also for landlords wishing to let their property as they always have their clients best interest at heart. GoogleI completely agree with Chloe Taylor. Absolute worst estate agent experience!!! THEY BROKE INSIDE THE HOUSE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!!!! ROOF LEAK that never got checked by anyone......and lots more... Lack of communication specially with Mehmet and Luis, once you pay the deposit they don't care about you and your interests. I called the office once asking for Mehmed while standing outside, I was told he wasn't there while I was looking at him through the window!!!!! They don't know the meaning of professionalism, don't meet their obligation and responsibility as an state agent (although we pay agency fee,...) if something gets broken, you better spend your money and fix it yourself because they won't take responsibility, they won't send someone to fix it. Horrible service, don't waste your money. stay away!!!

TrustpilotSpying on you asking personal information has non acting agents.
They call you without saying who they are spying and acting like it’s your estate agent selling your home that you have chosen. I’m positive they are breaking data protection has they impersonate another acting estate agents. It’s not until you say can you conform who you are when you’ll be surprised to see it’s a spying estate agent asking for personal confidential information from you. I’ve recorded the calls to send onto the ombudsman has it’s against regulations.

Terrible company and horrendous service. Hard to sell a house when the agent doesn't pitch up for viewings, has fake customers who don't pitch up for viewings either, doesn't return calls, terrible photos and asks for our own photos, bad write up, don't update the sales video with the new photos post makeovers, refuses to release the seller from a contract despite repeated requests due to terrible service and wants payment for doing nothing useful! Release MR Portman immediately so a proper agent can sell the house!

Southgate Branch, if I could give zero stars I would. They did not even send anyone round to the house when a viewer was coming. I had to show them round. Sometimes they told the client they would meet outside our house at the agreed time but would not show up. I use to see people wandering up and down the street and had to go out and ask them in. We were even told off for turning up at the office to speak with them being told we should have booked an appointment. Hopeless!!

'I was totally satisfied with Bairstow Eves during the sale of my house.They kept in touch with me and communicated throughout the whole process. Their explanations were clear. Each member of the staff that I had dealings with were friendly and personable and they helped to make everything easy from beginning to end. In particular, they were extremely quick to put my house on the market and worked very quickly to arrange the initial viewings. Their emails were friendly and not too formal.
