We just completed the purchase of our house in Tottenham, and Colin at Bairstow Eves was a great help throughout the sale. We needed the sale to go through quickly, and despite all the turmoil in the market (with mortgage rates nearly doubling throughout the course of the sale), Colin's level headed approach and professionalism helped ensure we got to completion with plenty of time. Early on in process we were experiencing much slower than usual wait times with our lender due to the frantic state of the market, and Colin helped keep the seller on board when they started to have concerns about the lack of progress with the sale. Colin also continued to make time to meet us at the property on several occasions later on in the sale, which was a big help with our obtaining quotes from trades people for works we were planning to have carried out after completion. As a buyer who had a lot of interaction with this agency, I highly recommend Colin and the team over at Bairstow Eves Tottenham.

Denzil is the worse, unprofessional estate agent I've ever experienced, He got the time wrong for our appointment, lied about it, came round, spent less than 20 minutes with no paper work, no ipad, no way to measure rooms etc. Promised to give a valuation within 24 hours, nothing happened for 5 days, so I called up, ignored and lied to again.. Finally I complained on line, was told by the complaints department that Denzil didn't like my 'tone' of voice when I complained!.. YET he still came round? Why waste my time? No wonder this company have such a poor reputation on line and by people in the street if they employ people this this one!

Unprofessional and uneducated people working here. How do I know? They were selling my flat and Mark Alexander, the Manager, called me to force me to sell when he wanted me to sell (all he cared about was his commission). I told him I wanted to wait to make a decision and like an upset kid, he just hanged up on me! If the Manager, who is supposed to give the example, behaves like that, then that gives u a very grim idea of how the whole Company is. If you want to sell your flat, do it with real professionals who have your best interest in mind, not only their commission. To be fair, Adam Shackman who was the Negotiator for the sale was professional and polite at all times. But if a Manager behaves like that, that ruins the whole experience and the reputation of the Company. Nobody should deal with a Company that has unprofessional and uneducated people in charge.

Whenever you call all agents are busy and cannot talk. They never reply to any email. I send a list of questions about a property I was about to view and no response. Finally we saw the flat. The agent was late, could not care less that we were outside waiting for him and he was not able to answer any single question we had about the property. Clearly he did not want to work on a Saturday morning. After 4 months the flat is still unsold. What a surprise and what a shame!!
