GoogleWe had an excellent experience with this Chris and his team, having both bought and sold houses in Barnes with them. Their knowledge of Barnes and the local is exceptional. It gave us real confidence at every stage of the process that we were in safe hands. They handled the sale with professionalism and care and the buying process was equally smooth. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area.

GoogleFrom the moment we started working Laurie-Ann at Apparent Properties, she showed nothing but professionalism and a true dedication to helping my family find the perfect rental. Laurie-Ann was super flexible with planned and ad-hoc viewings, making it easy for my husband and me to get a feel for the property prior to and during work on the house. Her quick responses and warm personality made every interaction enjoyable. It was clear that she genuinely cares about her clients and what they’re looking for. We found and secured our new home thanks to Laurie-Ann's hard work! Working with her has been such a joy, and I can’t recommend her enough. If we decide to rent again in Barnes, she’ll definitely be the first person I reach out to.

GoogleWe selected Apparent Properties to sell my aunt's house in Barnes because of their experience of selling properties in this area. We live in Devon so there were always going to be issues but Chris and Louise were great in finding a buyer and despite there being challenges on the way, the sale proceeded to completion yesterday. They were very responsive and were seemingly always available! Thank you for making our life that much easier. Highly recommended.

GoogleBought a property for which Apparent were the estate agents. Louise was brilliant and highly responsive. The whole procress was remarkably fast (6 weeks between offer and completion!) and completed without any unnecessary delay.

GoogleI’ve rented in London for over 15 years and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Apparent Properties sided with the landlord at every turn, ignored their own complaints procedure and made no effort to act independently or fairly. I had to escalate the matter to mydeposits, where the vast majority of the landlord’s claims were rejected. Future tenants should be cautious, document everything and be prepared to stand their ground. Update: Apparently, holding firm to agreed terms and challenging unfair treatment is considered a problem. The landlord escalated the dispute even after being advised not to and the deposit scheme ruled their claims were unjustified. Apparent Properties were not bystanders in this. They enabled the process from start to finish. This was never about attitude. It was about principle, process, and standing up for what was right.
Sorry to read your negative review Michael. As the Landlords representative we are obliged to carry out their instructions which is what we did. As the Landlords agent we obviously cannot be independent. We actually advised the client not to escalate to MyDeposits but you had upset them so much with your attitude that they ignored our advice. We are a company who are very proud of our good name and feel that you have mistakenly addressed your review to us rather than to your Landlord.

GoogleWe are coming to the end of an 11 year tenancy in Barnes which was managed by Apparent Properties. During this whole period Chris Peskett and his team managed all the issues that arose over this long period in a professional and timely manner. Not only were the contractors they worked with efficient and thorough, but Apparent made sure that our needs were met and our opinions taken into consideration ( eg selecting blind designs, wall colours etc). Apparent made for a very trouble free stay during this tenancy - Thank you!

We are also renting through Apparent in Barnes for 2021/2 whilst we renovate our new house. Chris is very approachable and sensible and, as a Barnes resident, he has first class knowledge of the area and the market. GoogleMy girlfriend and I had the privilege of renting through Apparent Properties for three years. The staff, notably Geraldine and Laurie-Ann, are friendly, punctual and extremely well-organised. As renters, we felt very looked after (which is a rarity in London) and we would have stayed renting with Apparent if we still lived in the capital!

My daughter and I have loved both properties and feel well looked after should there be any issues - which is hugely important to me!
