GoogleBeware! I found Jamie unprofessional, a good example is how he has told brazen lies to deflect blame several times in his reply to this review. I have never had the police called on me in my life, by anybody. I have never had a conflict with any flatmates...I assume he is also lying in the the replies to other bad reviews.
I only actually lived here a couple of months, most of the time I was out of the property, but dutifully paying £750 a month to line his pockets.
As soon as Jamie gets you on the phone he will do his best to take an hour of your day, using a lot of words to express nothing. I think this is his idea of working but for people with real jobs it is like listening to a squeaky deflating balloon for an hour. Because I was stuck in a contract with my ex I had to pay the rent on his behalf. I understood this and went out of my way to successfully pay the full rent, which I did in full. Jamie had disagreements with my ex and and Jamie made it my responsibility to try to make him behave, despite having escaped my ex and lived for months apart. He would call me at all hours ranting and raving. I didn't want contact with anyone, i was happy to pay and leave it at that. He tried to coax evidence from me so that he might take my ex to court.
At the end on my ex's tenancy, Jamie asked me to pay ridiculous and fabricated extra fines for my ex ON TOP of the full rent, and I did, but I asked him to PLEASE stop contacting me or I was gonna lose my patience. He continued to involve me.

Always somebody else's fault!.... first its your boyfriend and then its the estate agent. You signed a tenancy agreement with your boyfriend and then decided that it didn't apply to you and stopped paying the rent. Unfortunately thats not how a contract works and a landlord is legally entitled to pursue you for payment under the terms of the agreement whether it be personally or through the courts. Maybe you should read the terms and conditions next time and live up to your responsibilities (if you are indeed capable of this). Your tenancy was a disaster from the moment it started.... I should mention the numerous complaints we had from the flat mates about your atrocious behaviour and the fact that the police had to be called twice because of harassment and threatening behaviour. Let's hope another estate agent or landlord doesn't have to ever deal with you people.

Dear Jorge,
Your deposit was not held by Andrews and Stacey Ltd. It was held directly by the landlord. As it was YOU supplied the incorrect bank details and the landlord's bank were unable to match the details and therefore return your deposit at the same time as your flat mates (2 weeks after you moved out). After two failed attempts to return your deposit in September the landlord went on holiday and for the most part was in the outback of Australia for a month without access to Wifi. You cannot blame someone else for your own stupidity.

We are trying to get our security deposit back since more than a month after our contract expired and they don't seem to respond to mails / calls. Even during tenancy, the experience was hellish. That is untrue isn't it? You received your deposit back on the 27th September..... whereas the review was written on the 13th October. Your flatmate Jorge would have had his deposit back on the same date but he gave the incorrect bank details and therefore the payment was refused. Added to this the deposit was held by the landlord and not Andrews and Stacey Ltd. All bar Jorge (because of the reason above) had their deposits back well before you wrote this nonsense so it is abundantly clear that you are lying.

GoogleWhat a nightmare we lived during our rent period (5 years!!) because of this agents. They were one of the reasons we wanted to leave the property!
- It took ages and a lot of chasing to get an answer from them for when something didn’t work properly in the flat.
- It took 2 months to get our deposit back (because we had the day wrong in the council tax by ONE DAY, which meant £8 difference in the final account, so they didn’t give our deposit (£3000) back until we sorted that out)
- We signed the contract to stay in the property for one more year, one month after signing that contract they let us know the rent was going up (clearly the should have told us that in advance!!) we were hand tied as we didn’t have enough time to look for another flat and had to stay and accept the new renting cost!
- They told me they were going to bring a new wardrobe on Monday and take the old one. I emptied my old wardrobe in monday an nobody came, then they said Tuesday, so I emptied it as well, nobody came…I emptied my wardrobe up to 5 times!!! I was so fed up that I told them no to do anything and I had to get my own wardrobe in the end.
- I could go on and on but summing up, this real estate is hard work and makes your life VERY DIFFICULT.

GoogleMy girlfriend dealt with all handlings with Andrews and Stacey and after dealing with numerous estate agents this was by far the worst. Complete lack of professionalism and care towards potential customers. Attempted to drag out our offer being accepted by four days that met the asking price(eventually increasing in an attempt to win over the landlords decision). Numerous messages and calls left unanswered and unresponsive to by ‘Dean’. This wasted 7/8 days of our time and led us to miss out on other properties due to the landlord having to ‘sleep on the decision’ and eventually giving us a terrible excuse that the landlord wants to do AirBnb instead. Subsequently the apartment has been put back up on the market at a higher price. Proof can be provided at request.

I can only apologise if you feel that we have acted unprofessionally. It certainly wasn't our intention and are sincerely sorry if you feel that way. We are a company that prides ourselves on honesty and transparency and that is why you will note that we took no holding deposit from you when taking your offer. Unfortunately this was a new landlord for us and he has truly decided (at least that his reason to us) to go down the short term let route and not accept your offer. I have no power over his decisions and i did inform you at the time that he did have reservations (mainly because it was three people and the additional licence requirements) but that he would think it over. Unfortunately he decided to go a different route with the property which is his prerogative. If you have seen the property advertised for a higher amount it certainly isn't with us as we have removed it from our listings and returned the keys. Dean Stacey

GoogleI switched to Andrews & Stacey after KFH failed to find me a new tenant after 3 months in W12. Jamie found perfect tenants within 3 days and had them moved in within the week.
He has also been very quick to act when maintenance is needed at the property. A new door lock was fitted within a day, an electrician was also found on the day a problem occurred, and he has also helped with installing a fire extinguisher. He's also a lovely, approachable guy who is down to earth and happy to help. Couldn't be happier with my experience with them.
