GoogleExtremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time.
I booked a viewing on 24 February 2026 for an appointment confirmed on 28 February at 12:00 pm. I travelled nearly two hours to attend, arrived on time, and when I called the agent to check their arrival, I was casually told the appointment had been cancelled.
No one informed me beforehand. No call. No email. Nothing.
This shows a total lack of basic organisation and zero respect for clients’ time. Cancelling appointments without notifying people is unacceptable, especially when customers are travelling significant distances.
If this is how they treat potential buyers, I would strongly question how they handle actual clients.

GoogleWe viewed a property as potential buyers however the estate agent Daniel was extremely rude and unprofessional. He turned up 5 minutes late, which is significant as the slots were only 15 minutes long max due to the new covid19 measures.
He even proudly proclaimed that his office was only a 5 minute walk away from the property but decided to drive. Great for the environment...
When he arrived there was no apology, he proceeded by speaking to us like we were children GO IN AND LOOK BUT DON'T TOUCH NOTHING.
Another couple arrived just after we had finished viewing the property. Again, Daniel proceeds to shout at the couple to GO IN AND LOOK BUT DON'T TOUCH NOTHING.
The most bizarre experience I've ever had with any estate agent. 6 weeks had passed in a prime London location and the property we viewed was still on the market. At the time of my review, similar properties in the area were selling within days of being on the market. Go figure.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleAllen Davies is just about the only estate agent in Leyton, if not London, that actually treats its tenants like human beings rather than a cash sum every month.
We've been very happily renting from them for 3 years now, and while the issues have been very few and far between, where they have arisen, they've always been straight on it. Contact is routine in both directions and inspections are carried out not just to check the property is being cared for but that it is caring for the tenants as well.
Dropping into the office is always a pleasure as well should you need anything.
Can't say it enough: these guys are great at what they do.

GoogleNot only the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with, but the worst company and people I have ever came across, completely incompetent, rude, unhelpful, useless. We rented a flat from them and it was so filthy to the point it was a health hazard, they refused to get a cleaner, the furniture was unusable due to the dirt and stains, we had mould that they done nothing about and countless maintenance issues, management refused to speak to us or address any of the issues. 4 months of hell until the landlord got rid of the agency (he hated them as much as we do) The landlord now rents the flat independently to us. I'd rather be homeless than deal with these crooks ever again

GoogleJust heard a tenant on LBC telling a right horror story about these agents and the landlord they represent. Black mould, rotten window frames, water coming through air bricks and no attempts to repair despite council intervention. Now a Section 21. Shocking. Waiting to hear their response. Disgusting that young families have no choice but to live in such conditions. These landlords and letting agents should be prosecuted.
