I used Reeds Rains initially to manage a rental and then to sell the property. I highly recommend them. They are professional but welcoming, nothing is ever too much. I had my first experience renting a house in Northern Ireland with Reeds Rains and from the first interaction upon seeing the house (which was shown to my friend), throughout the whole period where I stayed at the house and upon returning the keys, my experience has been nothing but great ;) Tracey and the team are just outstanding and they looked after myself and the family over the nearly 3 years we rented a house with them. The owner was also phenomenal and we felt really welcomed coming back here after spending a year in Brazil. Tracey was always attentive to details, supportive, friendly and the customer service from this conpany and their team is out of this world. They helped us so much and gave us the best experience possible. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!!

Horrendous!

The response to my initial review (posted on 28th November, below) is as unsatisfactory as the service. Whatever the company claim now, I can evidence all of the concerns I listed. Further, almost three weeks after the moving date, problems persist. The fridge and freezer were not working and the tenant lost £130 of food. He is still without a working oven and has no access to the electric meter to obtain an initial reading. The latter is especially concerning because the hot water tank heats up constantly and then drains itself: imagine how much this is costing! Various items are broken (door handles, toilet seat) and there is black mould around the windows, very unhealthy. The tenant is facing Christmas with a microwave meal. How unacceptable is this! Happy Christmas, ReedsRains., , , , , -Dealing with this company has been a nightmare, for myself and the tenant for whom I acted as guarantor. Annabel Gilbey was the nominated negotiator but emails and phone calls to her went unanswered. On one occasion, the tenant drove several hundred miles for a viewing, leaving home at 5am but no-one turned up. A phone call would have been helpful. Sending a text when the negotiator knew he was travelling was not. We were sent repeated requests for information, money and urgent legal confirmations - none of which were necessary had the negotiatior or her colleagues acted professionally. The Branch Manager Justin Barton must bear the greatest responsibility for this. My concerns can be evidenced if this is necessary.

Northwich Branch - Absolutely WorthlessIf you are a renter, please stay away from properties that use this branch.Unhelpful, always a delay, not wanting to do the work needed and mostly ignore you.They are unwilling to even speak about maintenance issues, all they do is take the rent and ignore you. Heating issue? Fix yourselfDrainage issue? Fix yourselfIssues they said they would fix once you moved in? Fix yourselfProperty inspection? Waste of time, they never turn up and ignore youI just have no idea why it’s so difficult to get things done. Isaac in the maintenance department literally does nothing to help and would never even bother replying. Jonathan is as unhelpful and there is nothing I can do to get problems fixed.I will never rent from these again; absolutely appalling.
