GoogleWe have been looking to move to Lincolnshire for sometime,I contacted Your move and spoke to Anita and from the start she was friendly ,helpful and understanding.We arranged a couple of viewings but at the last minute had to change the timings by a couple of hours,one phone call to Anita and she quickly re-arranged this for us.We decided to make an offer on one of the properties through Anita over the period of a couple of days we went back and forth via phone and eventually got what we wanted,Anita as far as we are concerned went over and above to act for both vendor and buyer,nothing was too much trouble Well done Your move and a big thanks to Anita

GoogleWorst experience of renting ever!! DO NOT USE!!! We took out a tenancy 2017, and the pictures of the property were not as the property was. This was no issue as the neighbour had put up a fence, much improving the property. Within a month mould was evident (we sleep with windows open) and put dehumidifiers in, however Your Move were not concerned. The landlord agreed to pay 1 months council tax as we were moving in quickly; they didn’t do this, and Meg and Rosie ignored this despite numerous calls and time put into sorting this.
There were errors with the house; broken plug sockets, fire alarms that did not work, mould, and a cooker that had a hob that didn’t work. These were recorded at moving in yet we were charged on check out. We will report to trading standards, but do not use this joke of a company

Hi Judith,
I am sorry for your frustrations, however I hope the following makes more sense of the situation.
On the issue with the mold; a contractor payed a visit to the property for an inspection. They concluded in the report that it was your ventilation that was causing the problem and that drying clothes in multiple rooms without adequate ventilation, would worsen the issue.
The council tax is still hard to get to the bottom of because the outcome relied on the council themselves. We are still waiting on them to come back to us with a solution.
As for the dilapadations, this will only be clear on the end of lease notes. The only claims that were made were for weeds, a clean and for one smoke alarm to be replaced.

Trying to get my deposit was like trying to find a needle in Hyde park.
Every colleague was on a lunch break every time i needed someone to talk to.
There was always someone else in charge of my deposit so i was literally going around in circles with a different office everyday.
I finally got information of the woman in charge of my deposit and it seemed she was a secret agent at mi5. Getting in contact with her was impossible and all of her colleagues who tried to contact her on my behalf couldn't as well.

GoogleFantastic Estate Agents from the outset with Julian Buckenham who came out to value my property. He arrived exactly on time was well presented and prepared knew the market was professional and friendly open and honest excellent communicator and that gave me the confidence to make a decision on the day to instruct Your Move. I had three other Valuers call to my house but he was by far the best.
I was then put in touch with Kelly who works in the Lincoln Office and is amazing!!!
She has gone above and beyond what I would have expected. My buyers told me they think she is amazing too and that she has helped them so much. From the beginning she has kept in touch with me every week and kept me fully updated. She always answered my calls and any questions or queries I had she promptly responded. She has promoted my property very well and secured a buyer for me. Kelly is very proactive and has had to deal with a long chain of people involved in this sale and has constantly communicated with all of them. There were quite a few issues to deal with further down the chain and she dealt with all of it to bring this sale to exchange and that is down to her hard work and dedication.
The other member of the team I spoke to occasionally was Rosie and she was excellent too. This is obviously a great team and they work very well together and Your Move should be very proud of them. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Well Done !!

GoogleI have used Your Move Lincoln for both renting and selling my property, and on both occasions they were excellent.
I was managing my property from a distance and changed agents as customer service with my previous agent was woeful on all accounts. Your Move have been fantastic throughout, their customer service has alway been of the highest quality, prompt and professional. They are extremely knowledgeable and have always advised with a balanced view for the tenant and landlord.
I decided to sell with Your Move off the back of this experience and they were once again excellent. I couldn't fault them and would 100% use them again.
It's rare to find a good, hard working and honest agent these days and the Lincoln brach certainly fit the bill. Always a pleasure to speak with them on the phone and they did what they said they would + more.
I couldn't be happier with with my renting and selling experience and I would highly recommend.

FacebookHaving been through the process of buying and selling properties for a number of years, Your Move Lincoln/Hykeham are absolutely diabolical. There isn’t the space here to write all their errors. Even though we went into lockdown with COVID a few months after the property sold, they have been unprofessional, rude & unhelpful. When we, as a family, asked to speak to the area manager, we were informed that we were already dealing with her - her customer service skills leave a lot to be desired.
We haven’t even started the process of reporting them to the ombudsman for all their mistakes, however I wanted to pre warn anybody thinking of buying or selling with this company should go elsewhere.

We have been told if we are not out by 2nd April and keys returned we will be charged another month ?? so in order not to be charged £800 we are expected to break the isolation and all but essencial travel ban!!! OUTRAGEOUS ??????
Shame on them!! Please share.. This company is horrendous! We have since been told we will be charged for cleaning if its not done by 2nd!
