I decided to sell my property that I have rented for over 18 years. I was given Burton & Co details by my Property Rental Managment team. They have made selling my house easy, I have always been kept updated. This you would expect, but I live 350 miles away in Cornwall. I have not seen the house for over 3 years. When the house was empty they would visit to make sure everything was good. I believe that they did everything and a lot more to help me achieve my goal. A big thank you to Sharon, Barbara and the team.

The Trusted AgentInitial service very good but let down by over zealous negotiator
Service very good to start wth good brochure details and knowledge of market.
But after sale agreed. negotiator out info pressure into us and seemed to be working for the buyer rather than us the seller. So got pressurised into rushing the sale and losing money in the process.

Thank you for your review.. Inviting comments enables us to address problem areas if they exist and we are very sorry you felt pressured towards the end of the sale. However, we do feel very strongly that if we hadn't responded in the way we did following problems created by lack of documentation for solar panels (resulting in your buyer walking away and being persuaded to come back by our negotiator), you would have lost your buyer, the eventual sale price of the property would have been even lower and you would not have been able to move, as quickly as you did, into the bungalow you had found to buy.

Excellent service throughout. Began with initial valuation when useful information was provided about probate and inheritance tax. Although the valuation made was sligjtly lower than the other two agencies it seemed more in line with what we felt represented the true market value of the property.
Very regular contact was maintained throughout both by phone and by email with even the slightest development being notified.
A great team of people. Determined to succeed. All staff came across as friendly and approachable whilst maintaining a professional and effective work ethic
