DO NOT USE DIXONS SELLYOAK- we rented our house through DIXONS SellyOak for 1 year. Our house was to be managed and agreed regular contact to keep us updated that the house was in the immaculate condition it was given to them. The property was not monitored or maintained there was no contact from the agents or visits undertaken until we complained following a visit to the property. We ended the contract for the tenants to leave at the end of their contract. Another month in our house. We entered the property which took us 5 days to clean with faeces down the radiators and all over the floors. Damaged high gloss kitchen bathroom suite dirt and grime everywhere. The deposits team awarded us £270.00 to replace and repair although they had the cheek to still take their management fees. Complaints are a waste of time it’s just an email process. I would not recommend DIXONS as an agent for renting buying or selling they are useless !!! They don’t look after your home at all they are just happy to make a quick buck - robbers 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

Would give 0 star if could. This Estate Agents has no idea to sell a property. Four times had to contact them to get the description and price corrected. It was beyond belief how wrong and incompetent they were with the handling of our sale. They put it on the internet to sell without reading what they had actually put and they had put incorrect price twice, probably losing out on a sale. In the end we had to withdraw. There was no apology no response to our numerous emails and texts. Very unprofessional. Wasted months of possible lost sales. Cannot recommend from our view and experience.

DO NOT USE DIXONS HALESOWEN IN-HOUSE BUILDING SURVEYORS & MORTGAGE COMPANY £20000 OUT OF POCKET ! . I purchased a house from them and used there building home buyer surveyor and mortgage company as I felt pressured to take the service as they said they had lots of buyers for the house and that they would only sell if I taken a mortgage with them . I had the report come back from Dixons building surveyors saying the house was fine and in good state . I was then put on a high interest mortgage rate which I questioned but yet again told that was the best deal and gave me the rights to buy now . Received the keys 2 weeks ago from the sales manager Matthew who was rushing to get me out of the branch as he was busy and load and be behold all issues came to light . Found subsidence at the front of house , the walls were all damp in the living room and kitchen which have now been found that there been a leak that been there for long time .all windows were blown , the electrics had faulty wiring and has to be condemned . I had to get an independent survey done after getting the keys and it found out that the house is in serious state of repair ! . It’s now going to cost me over £20000 out of my own money which if Dixons didn’t give a false home building surveyor I wouldn’t of brought the house but I guess that’s how they scam people . All the problems with the house and the Dixons scam I’ve now had to take this to legal matters as I have been falsely sold this house with the state of repair and the evidence shows this. If I could give a zero I would . Always do your research and go elsewhere then Dixons Halesowen. BE CAREFULL !

When anything needed chasing she has done so. Would like to thank Matt Till From Halesowen Branch wholeheartedly for his attentiveness and understanding during a very difficult time whilst we were going through our move during last few months. Due to the virus everything took a lot longer than normally would but he ensured that all involved were advised often and he never failed to follow up and to keep us informed. Would highly recommend him and the rest of the team. We sold two properties at the same time one a deceased relative and our own personal home for which only really interested parties came to view and both sold in 2 days.Everything ground to a halt which was very stressful but in return to some normality the attentiveness if Matt Till assisted greatly in us achieving completion on both which enabled our purchase to complete too. Successful and happy

We had a very unsettling and difficult time whilst selling a deceased persons house prior to and during this pandemic.Matt Till and the others we dealt with in Halesowen branch were exemplary under these difficult circumstances. They introduced suitable buyers to view In the first instance and we sold within 24 hours. All was going well until lockdown and the furloughing of staff - at both the estate agents and solicitors. This for us was extraordinarily difficult to deal with both emotionally and practically as everything took 3 months longer than originally expected.Matt’s assurences were invaluable and once normal service resumed he constantly contacted the conveyancing services on our behalf to avoid any further delays and instantly advised us directly to do whatever was necessary to assist the process. We had initially registered with another agency and in the months they had our property, we had to chase for updates. That particular company did not make us feel that we were priority. 18 weeks and no result Dixon’s team were SO different. We had updates from get go. Every viewings set up, we got email and text messages. We knew who was going into our property and the outcome. They made us their priority.There was a constant communication with Sarah, she was the glue ~ our SUPER glue. She was our point of contact from point of sale agreement. She kept the communication going between us, our recommended solicitor and buyer. Assuring and guiding us. All the staff knew the status of our sale it shows the level of their excellence, their professionalism and passion for their job.We could call anytime and felt free to do so. It really felt like nothing was any trouble. So many things went wrong and I’m not even sure where to start. I walked into a messy, dusty apartment that had clearly not been cleaned since the last tenant was there and I had to pay for my own cleaning service, which is odd because they make sure to ask for £150+ out of your deposit for cleaning fees when you leave.To make it worse, after you’ve signed an agreement they dump you off to another group to deal with and clear themselves of any responsibility. It’s not a one time thing, they do this with every new tenant, taking ownership once again to market the apartment and not telling you that you will be left with someone else.They are mostly nice and friendly when speaking to them so I put off writing this review, but the last straw is refusing to release my deposit for a month (and still ongoing) after I leave, but conveniently making sure that I paid my rent on time through constant emails. Just another one of those agencies that want to have it both ways and from now on will avoid.

Have been discussing our now property with Matt and Libby since February. They worked really hard to liase between myself and the seller and always kept both parties up to date.The knowledge Matt has is excellent and reassuring which made for an easier ride. I am totally disappointed with dixons…

I am totally disappointed with dixons service i spose to move in property on 1st of april and they start the contract on 17 of april when i moved in the property there was leaking water from walls and they fix that in a week time and i have to call them everyday to please solve this problem there is no water in the property After that when i check the boiler there is no hot water I report that last monday 29th of april still waiting nothing happen I have 3 kids my kids got flu cough and my youngest one is 10 months old he is not feeling well I call them everyday and tell them please i have kids and their reply is waiting for the answer of landlord I am totally disappointed with this service I will never take any property from dixons and will never recommend to any one Totally disappointed with dixons and landlord behavior Before i moved to the property i asked the agent is there any other problems in the property and she said everything is working fine No customer service no response immediately waste of time
