GooglePlace is clean, location is quiet and only a short walk to the station.. would totally recommend if you want a place to stay near 02 arena.

GoogleThe place was clean, the room was big and there were communal shower and toilets. There was space park our car, and the area is nice with a CO OP and a Pub near by. We chose to stay there for the weekend as we were watching the British Touring car championship at the Brands Hatch race circuit

GoogleRoom was good, walls were thin, could hear conversations from the room next door. Shower got repaired while I was there, great service to replace the mixer, but the temperature would still fluctuate from hot to cold.
Overall acceptable value, and helpful service from owners but due to the shower issues I would not stay here again.

GoogleT’was a nice and clean space to stay. I enjoyed my stay there. Only issue I had was with the hot water not working in the shower. But was rectified as soon as I brought it to their attention. Will be staying here again

GoogleWe couldn't access the main building as the code provided was not working. We tried to call the property manager who answered after an hour. Someone came to try to open the main door and still was not working so they had to call a locksmith, we managed to access the property after 3 hours. No gesture of goodwill was given! (Not even late check out) Very disappointed.

GoogleThe place was clean enough but the location (the rooms were in an old building above a fish and chips!) could have been better. Security was another concern as the entrance to the building was on the street, which was not well lit and with all sorts of people going to the take away shops.

GoogleConvenient location for us to meet family & friends. Good apartment especially with en suite. Stayed here previously so knew what to expect. Would suggest it needs a mirror in bedroom for hair& makeup. Also a couple of extra towels would be really good and a couple of softer pillows as they were like bags of set cement. Not too noisy- nice residential area.

GoogleLast resort. It works, but look a little more and it will be worth it.
Liked · the only good thing about the location is that it is easy to get there by Uber boat or the ferry station
Didn't like it · I arrived and had to wait more than an hour for the person at the reception to show up. I bathed for 2 days with frozen water, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, and the man at the reception is not even willing to show you where the room is.

GoogleGood place to stay in Woolwich, very conveniently located for the DLR (right in front) and the Elizabeth Line.
Our room was clean (though not spotless clean) and the bed linens and towels were clean but not super new.
The bathroom is brand new but the water pressure is very low, forget about a super powerful hot shower.
The room came with a fridge, a kettle with two cups and some tea and coffee, a blowdryer and even an iron and ironing table.
We read some awful reviews just before our arrival and were mildly worried but ended up realizing the unhappy clients were probably exagerating the flaws because they were unhappy of the area maybe? it's notoriously not the best area in London, but we were fine and very happy with our accomodation.

GoogleI needed last-minute accommodation for the London Marathon as previous plans were not going to work out.
This was close to the start line and had everything I needed - own bathroom, coffee making facilities and shops nearby. Clean and private in a quiet road.
When I had a query prior to arrival it was promptly answered.
Good for the price.

GoogleFor London standards, good and inexpensive accommodation with very good connections to the local rail passenger transport (DLR, National Rail Service, Elisabeth Line) or to the Thames Clipper.
I had a large room (furniture a bit outdated) with a large bed. A fairly modern, spacious bathroom. Unfortunately only one large towel. Hot water took a while, unfortunately.
There are breakfast options just a few steps away, inexpensive and good.
You should not be sensitive or overly squeamish about the immediate surroundings of the accommodation.

GoogleIdeal location, right opposite Woolwich Arsenal DLR and within 5 mins walk of a massive Tesco and many restaurants. The building itself felt safe and secure, not only because of the codes provided for access, but also because of its layout as a block of apartments with dedicated lift. The whole place just seemed very warm and comfortable and was decorated to such a modern, clean standard. Both the bedroom and bathroom were a nice size and also very clean. We had a mini fridge that came in so handy and a generous amount of tea / coffee with our kettle. Towels and toiletries were provided although we didn’t use these in the end. The shower also seemed real good (it was walk in shower big enough for two people with a big overhead shower head) but we didn’t need this during our stay either. In fact, I believe this was the nicest shared bathroom situation I’ve seen so far. Very well looked after. Would definitely stay here again, thank you so much!

GoogleWhen we arrived the room was stinking. Also, it was not clean. The bathroom was shared and unfortunately, it was not clean.
There is no privacy as you can easily hear all the noises from other rooms.

GoogleI would not recommend this place, my friend and I walked in shocked to see stains on the bed. Showing they either didn’t was the bed sheets or bed covers properly. However we put up with the stains by putting towels over the bed sheet stains. We fell asleep and to our surprise woke up with bites all over us. BED BUGS!!!! We left the residence early due to the bites we got. They are still itchy right now. I told the owners, I would like a refund and they wouldn’t accept a full refund, they were trying to give back less than half of what I paid. They finally agreed to refund half but the man on the phone told me if I don’t delete the one star review I gave on booking.com, I would not receive any type of refund. This place is horrible and I hope you do NOT book this place if you love your health! GREENWICH STAY is the place we stayed at.

GoogleI wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The area was nice, and there was free parking, but aside from that, the place was very run-down. You could tell that the entry hallway hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and neither had the room itself. The carpet didn’t just look heavily worn with strange spots on it; it also hadn’t been vacuumed at all. The bed looked old and damaged. You couldn’t open a window, there were only doors to open, which you wouldn’t want to do in London at night. The fridge was turned off when we arrived, so it took a long time to cool, but we didn’t want to use it anyway because it smelled like rotten cheese. However, the worst part was the bathroom. It was obvious that mold had been painted over, and as soon as you opened the bathroom door, it was nearly impossible to breathe, it was really that bad. The place doesn’t look anything like the photos.

GoogleGreenwich stay - If I could rate them 0 I would. Our stay at the Greenwich hotel was absolutely disgusting. The room was filthy from the moment we walked in, but the worst part? BED BUGS. My friend and I woke up covered in bites, itching like crazy, and to top it off, the sheets had stains that clearly hadn’t been washed. It was beyond repulsive. How a hotel can operate in such unsanitary conditions is beyond me. If you value your health and cleanliness, stay far away from this place. It’s a disgrace.

GoogleFour stars for balance of cheap cost and cleanliness.
I have stayed at Frances House a large number of times from 1 day to 10 days. It is one of the cheapest options available. However, if you don't mind sharing a bathroom with people in a max of 1 other 2-bed bedroom (walls okay but not the thickest), it is definitely best value (one bedroom only has its own shower - slightly more expensive - still cheap). Functional rooms always look and smell very clean on arrival, with comfortable clean double bed.
The smart TV and Wifi have always worked and there are three password protected doors to get through in order to enter the building and room (codes sent by prompt email). No staff at site, but they have always been quick to attend if needed. The shower only bathroom is functional and clean and I have never found it is be dirty, even if shared.
There are 5 takeaways and 1 supermarket (and 24-hour petrol station = 100m) in the parade of shops outside, so convenient and there are plenty of buses to Woolwich (Arsenal and Dockside), a 10-minute walk away.

GoogleTOTAL disappointment we bought smoke, outside the room it is very nice everything is fine hallways, but once inside the room our bad nights began it is nothing of what the photos on Booking say it is quite the opposite the rooms are super dirty the The sink is broken and full of hair, the walls are dirty with stains, the floor has never been mopped in my life because I threw away my son's socks because it was so dirty, the kettle they put inside the room is dirty, full of lime, they don't change the sheets. Not even the towels and to top it all off the neighbors that we had smoking marijuana because they don't respect that there are children. Among the bad things, the good thing was that when making the online reservation they said that upon arrival you had to give a £100 deposit as a result of damages, but since there was no reception or anyone to tell or complain to, that's what we saved and one less problem.
Come on, I don't recommend it for what they charge, it's not worth it. I'm sorry but for me it's a bad experience 😞

GoogleCozy little place, I stayed with my mrs and we had no bother the whole time, we paid extra for a private bathroom which was way better than having to share so definitely recommend it to anyone, my only problem is their is no one on at the reception ever so it just feels abit cold in a way and their isn’t any house keeping unlike a normal hotel, which isn’t a major critique but it’s always nice to have fresh clean sheets when you come back from a day of travelling and a clean room

GooglePros: It was affordably priced for a good location, quiet and calm area, has good parking space and communication was well in time for check in.
Cons: Room rug didn’t seem well vacuumed before check in, and has a damp smell which came especially from the bathroom likely cause the vent don’t work trapping moisture in. The toilet wasn’t well cleaned before check in, had to get a room freshener to bear for the short stay. Also have to make a choice between TV or fridge to plug in.

GoogleThe worst hotel we have ever experienced. Coming in the house was covered in construction scaffolding outside, windows all covered, entrance, floors, stairway all dirty and covered by plastic film from construction work all days. Worker came and started very noisy drilling work. The room was as dirty everywhere, dust on furniture, tables, bed edges, juice liquid sticky spilled under the bed, upholstered chair was so dusty that we all were severely suffering from dust allergy. We even had to move it out. The wardrobe had a film of dust on top from years. The bathroom shower tray was full of mold. The shower hose was leaking out water. Dirty bed sheets and covers, lamp full of dust could not even touch it. Bathroom shelf was not fixed safely and again covered with dust, rusty toilet brush, one roll of toilet paper not enough for 4 days. Had to go out for another hotel because of severe dust allergy after first day. Photo documentation attached.
