Low cost but you get what you pay for. Pros: cost, across street from DLR and Elizabeth lines. Rooms look modern and not falling apart. Cons: Feels a bit ghetto outside the building. Unstaffed so all communication has to be on phone or if you're lucky you'll get a reply on booking app. Wifi was terrible. Pretty sure there were bed bugs! I was eaten alive staying there. Check out was 10a (standard is at least 11 IMO). Water pressure sucked. hair dryer didn't work.

I had a really good stay at Greenwich Guesthouse. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless too. Everything was in good condition and well taken care of. It’s not a 10, but definitely a solid 7, great value for the price. I also want to mention Fouzia, who was incredibly kind and helpful over the phone. She made sure I found my room and checked that everything was okay. Her attention really made a difference.

Excellent for the price (booked with a good discount), was very pleasantly surprised. The room with the private bathroom was clean and nice, comfortable bed, had everything you need. Self check in was easy, had to walk a bit from the train station but wasn't difficult to find. Not far from O2 (went by train). There was everything except a hairdryer, but I should have asked for it in advance I guess. Overall had a great stay there and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Sadly disappointed. Hugely inflated prices as it was marathon weekend. I can’t abide profiteering. Shared bathroom/toilet/shower between three units not at all clear on adverts. I have screenshots to corroborate. Could only get out of one side of bed so not suitable for a couple as we were. Shower was tepid. TV kept turning off as lost signal constantly. No replenishment of tea/coffee. Tiny claustrophobic room for extortionate price. Very upset to be honest.

Overall experience was very pleasant. Bobi was very nice lady and helpful on the phone. Bed was very comfortable as was the sofa bed. The room has floor heating which was pleasant and easy to turn up temperature with thermostat on wall. There was fridge and tea coffee kettle milk sugar etc provide The bathroom/shower was very clean and so spacious.. I have a mobility issue so was perfect just walk in to the shower. Only thing I would say is to please provide more towels for a booking of two nights. I had two towels only on arrival but when I called reception they brought more. Would definitely recommend and would use again in the future.

Arrived at hotel and followed all the instructions to access the building. Removed room key from key safe but it wouldn’t open. Called for assistance and they came quickly. Nice spacious room and bathroom. Downside was the shower was cold and it looked like we’d been left a used shower gel. The wash basin tap was loose and moved around when you turned it on.

"Everything is very old. The quality of everything is very low. The single bed was not usable at all. Worst of all, there is a lot of noise from outside. It's in a neighborhood with a lot of rough and rowdy people, and they argue and fight until morning, and their noise constantly comes into the room. The windows are not good at all."

Me and my husband and one of my sons stayed here as we had a concert to attend in the o2 arena. Great location to underground (woolwich arsenal dlr is opposite and woolwich Elizabeth line 5 min walk) great location for local shops with Tesco being 5 min walk and a corner shop and chinese on either side. Building is very clean and smells clean and room was clean also! With WiFi and likes of Netflix etc on tv in room. My only issue was it's is 4 flights od stairs to get to rooms there is a lift but it wasn't working for first 24 hours of my stay , and having arthritis in my back it was awful walking up and down and this is the only reason why it's 4 star But aside from that it is affordable accommodation for accessibility to London city itself that isn't right in the hustle and bustle of it.

Ok but disappointing. The room in the picture was not the one we got. One office chair and one bedside table and lamp is not enough for 2 adults. Only one bed pillow each which is uncomfortable for us and no help when we requested more. The bathroom is unheated despite having a heated towel rail. This is for show only and does not function. Too cold to have a shower in as the room is large! Sleeping was difficult due to the continuous traffic on the outside main road and ear plugs are needed. Will not repeat the exercise.

Room was fine and the en-suite (extra cost) is always a good thing. We did have trouble finding the place as sat-nav takes you around the back which is problematical as there is no back access due to renovation work. Also, the adjoining room had no en-suite so it's occupant was up and down every hour all the time we were there through the night banging doors open/shut with, it seemed, no care for anyone else in the building. Just the luck-of-the-draw I guess this time! The room is adequate. The location excellent (great transport links). The check-in/out was super easy (once we found the correct entrance)! If you plan to stay here, make sure you set your satnav to Fairthorn Road (not Greenwich House) else you will not find the place. Room was fine as mentioned but wjhile we were ther, it complex was being renovated so workmen were drilling/banging all day from 8am (again, bad luck on our part). Also, the room is clean on entry which is expected of course, but it is not cleaned during your stay. If you are not a light sleeper, this place is recommended. Thank you...

The hosts were quick to respond and helpful, however we were initially put in a ‘double’ room (room 1) that wasn’t big enough to swing a cat in and the outside security light was left on all night shining through our window..after 2 nights we were helpfully moved to a larger room (room 4) also at the front of the house with a VERY noisy road, you can wave to the people on the top deck of the bus right outside your window 🤣 the bed was super comfy though could do with being a bit bigger but the carpet was in a disgusting state and the upstairs bathroom could do with a make over. It was a lovely warm house though and radiators were easily controlled . The only other negative was no kitchen although there is a 24 hour petrol station just a couple of minutes walk away if you fancy a sandwich! There is tea and coffee and a kettle in the room but no fridge to store milk.

The TV never streamed any programme .Netflix didnt work..Bad TV remote. No heater.what happens during winter or cold weather times? Elevator is clean but the sounds brings fear of malfunction. The bathroom floor tiles are beautiful but can slip a guest and cause injury as ithey are glossy. Not meant for bath floors please. However, the room is clean , big and spacious.Location is very good. Many Bus stops and 3 train stations are on each side of the hotel to ease movement of guests.Easy self check in and check out. I will come again if the complaints are taken care of.

Room was spacious for 2, the fridge was nice if you stay longer than two days, we had a room with our own bathroom, bed was alright - matras need a change, so do the duvet cover we had (full of stains). The hygiene is a point of attention, they did respond to our request for cleaning, but did not clean all the things. The locations is handy with two underground lines within 2 and 5 min reach. Shops and market just down the stairs. Tesco's on the other side of the square. Markets are build at 06:00 in the morning, be aware. Just a small window with 30 degrees was hot.

The hotel is very clean and very quiet. Located just off the DLR and a few meters from the Elizabeth line metro. Nearby is a giant TESCO and a Mark & Spencer Food. Entry to the hotel with codes and without problem, very fast check-in and check-out. In our case there were 5 of us and with an extra bed we had plenty of space in the room. We recommend it 100%

Room was a decent size but the carpet needed cleaning, bed was ok, I slept well. The TV had a terrible signal. The bathroom was really dirty as if they don't know how to use a mop! The whole place needs a deep clean!

The Equitable hotel in Woolwich was in a handy location, good size and bed ok, but pillow hard. Was disappointed with the cleanliness of it it is very run down and needs updating. It was also very noisy so only slept on and off. The TV didn't work.

Dartford stay was ok, looks rough with short trees from the outside, but clean on the inside. Room was tidy and neat as well. No access facilities such as the kitchenette even such as a microwave to use. The bathroom sharing is good for families, not strangers like I had to deal with. Proximity to city centre is great. Bedspread were never changed for a week, also bin bag, towels and toiletries. Staff were great, though👍.

Room was good for the price we paid. Showers ran nice and hot and the heating was lovely and toasty! Easy to get in and find. Easy to get to the O2, just a 10 minute bus ride away and easy to get into central London. The only thing that was negative it that the walls are really thin.. we had a neighbour play music at 3am very loudly. I understand the accommodation can’t help this but if you’re a light sleeper please consider booking. Would book again for our next gig to the O2!

Very good location - close to the metro and DLR stations. Our room was relly quite - no street noise and no trouble from other guests. Many local shops and Tesco nearby. Hotel is not in the best shape, but quite clean. Price is very good.

It's a beautiful place. Everything is working properly, and you can rest when need it. I would like to recommend a more soft and comfortable pillows, for me are too big and hard, provoking headache after few hours. Another opportunity of improvement is the bathroom's odor, the smell of humidity can be very unpleasant at times. Thank you for hosting me!

This was absolutely fine, but could have been much better. The room was spacious and quite well equipped at a basic level - bed, desk, bathroom with a small vial of shampoo and another of body wash. The place was unstaffed- on the day of arrival one received a series of code numbers to get through various key-padded doors which was OK although a little like a prison. BUT the shower was of VERY low pressure and it was difficult to get it to be warm enough; and my room had only a small skylight which was difficult to open and close and get the curtain across - one needed a very long pole which was a little difficult to manage; and my room was very noisy - lots of late night (ie 1am, 3am, 4.30am) convivial shouting of friends leaving each other, lots of noise of garbage collections etc. AND not cheap - £120 / night for no breakfast and no eating facilities at all. SO - OK but not exceptional.

It's hard to find larger rooms that accommodate more people (4 in my case) and are decently priced in London. This is one of them. Easy access, manned reception desk also in late hours, clean and very spacious room, comfortable beds. Location is great, you have direct access to DLR and Elizabeth line, which can easily transport you all over London. Would definitely book again.

A very disappointing stay. Sadly, the facade of the building and the interior of the hallways leading to our room were extremely deceptive. The photos of the rooms on the website are grossly misleading. Our ‘family room’ was shabby and we have no clue where a third person could have slept comfortably if our plans to bring our daughter hadn’t changed last minute. The decor was shoddy, only two bath towels were provided, the bathroom sink was blocked and dirty and the hairdryer had a two pin plug (?) with no socket for it in sight. The only positive thing we can mention hence the one star is the thermostat worked. If this hadn’t been the case, we would not have stayed. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

I had a little problem locating the property at first due to how the houses on the street are numbered, but i found my way eventually. Before then i had received my self check in instructions which were straightforward and i was able to gain entrance to my room. The accommodation was decent, the wifi worked very well and everything was great. There’s a corner shop about 5 mins walk from the property if you need to get some basic items. I spent 2 nights over there and must say i had a good night sleep.
