It's been a real pleasure dealing with Oakleys who had the agency for the property I've just bought. It should have been a straightforward purchase but things became more complicated due to circumstances beyond everyone. Carolyn, the Sales Manager made a difficult situation very much more bearable and Rafael was most helpful during the viewings. I'd certainly recommend the Lewes office wholeheartedly.

We cannot recommend Oakleys highly enough and are so pleased we chose them as our agents to sell our property in Lewes. They took great photos, marketed the house to the right people, got a number of second viewings and found us the perfect buyer. They were also really supportive when our ongoing house purchase (through a different estate agent in Lewes) fell through. Carolyn and David in particular were absolute stars, big thanks to them and the team. We have recently bought a flat through the Oakley branch in Lewes. I think we were not easy customers. It took a long time for us to sell and we had terrible solicitors. David and Carolyn were endlessly patient and helpful. They gave expert advice whenever we asked for it, made phone calls to help the process along, and on the removal day -the last working day before Christmas - they made special arrangements for us. The team at Oakley in Lewes were friendly and helpful from start to finish. It took me a very long time from their initial valuation visit, to decide to sell but there were no pressurized communications from them during this time which is why I decided to use Oakley. Richard, Carolyn and David are all knowledgeable and personable and it’s good to have more than one contact in the office so I could always get hold of somebody if I had a query. Their recommendation for a solicitor was also excellent. My sale was rather protracted and long winded but they remained in contact and continued to be proactive during the uncertain periods which I found encouraging.
