Over that period they have been communicative, organised, and patient with all manner of requests and issues. When I finally decided to sell, I dealt with Afzaal, Prakash, and Niomi, all of whom worked efficiently to overcome the obstacles that come with selling. I relied on the team entirely as I am not local, and I'm very pleased to say that they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this estate agent.

GoogleBoard went up on a property on the Monday afternoon, I called lady took details for me to view because her colleague was there on Thursday. Arranged to visit and took all my details advised we are prepared to put offer in. Lady said actually we can do Tuesday i.e. next day...Tueaday morning I get a call vendor accepted an offer last week in writing...even before it went on market. It's clear staff do not talk to each other and clearly doesn't want to consider best prices for the vendor. Very disappointed in standard of service from Martin and Co. I was prepared to go above and beyond the asking price...their loss! Vendor lost out...

GoogleI visited a property and was asked to pay a holding deposit before my previous landlord’s reference was checked. I paid the holding deposit in good faith, but afterwards I was informed that the reference had received adverse feedback and that my application could not proceed.
Only after this did the agency tell me that the holding deposit was non-refundable. This was not clearly explained or brought to my attention before I made the payment.
I feel that I should have been informed of the possibility of losing the holding deposit before being asked to pay it. I have requested clarification and a refund, but so far the agency has refused.
I am disappointed with the way this situation was handled and would encourage anyone considering paying a holding deposit to make sure they fully understand the refund conditions beforehand.

Nicola in particular was very abrupt over email, and when this was brought to her attention, no apology was issued for her tone, it was a case of 'sorry you feel that way" not "sorry I've made you feel that way, how can I rectify the issue". I shall not use Martin and Co again, and I would discourage anyone from using their services to. Very disappointed with the service provided.

GoogleI decided to sell my rental property I've owned for 19 years on Wilberforce Road. I went into the Martin & Co office on Narborough Road and was impressed with staff and their knowledge of the area and housing stock so decided to use them. When it was marketed there was 9 viewings on the first day and I had 5 offers within a couple of days. Prakash supported from start to finish, he is friendly and helpful and was always on the end of the phone when needed. They took alot of the stress out of the process and I would recommend their services.
