Had a really good experience with the lettings team and getting my property let. The whole process was smooth from start to finish and they kept me in the loop the whole way through. Ami, Anil and Tracey were easy to get hold of, answered any questions I had, and just made everything a lot less stressful than I expected. They handled the marketing and getting tenants in pretty quickly, which I was really happy with. Overall, really straightforward and professional service. Would definitely recommend to other landlords.

Had such a lovey experience dealing with Anil, Amy and Tracey whilst letting my property out. Amy pointed me in the right direction with regards to market rent. Anil was always quick to respond to any questions I had, and always kept communication flowing at every step, and Tracey was never too busy to answer any questions whilst managing a busy high street branch. Having dealt with another agency on the same street, I would highly recommend Connells all the way.

I have had the worst experience with these guys in Connell at Leicester. Very un professional staff, when you call they do not answer, when they answer they promise some one will call you back but no one does. This has been their attitude. Especially Ellis who had promised lofetly when it come to selling my property but when they had 3 months time they could not even get clients to come and view the property. For me i know it is all a sham, of hollow promises. All they did was having free advertising at my expense. Disappointed for having to deal with them.

Shocking experience from start to finish. We have recently sold a property with this shambolic agency. One viewings agent broke doors in our property and then lied about it. Another was shockingly rude. And they refused to give any updates on how the sale was progressing after a sale was agreed because we chose to use our own solicitor rather than theirs. Despite being their clients and paying their fees, we were told it was not their job to give any updates and we’d have to ask our solicitor. Unhelpful, deceitful, unprofessional and rude. I have never had such bad service.

Not a very nice mortage adviser. Was not empathic of our situation and was constantly looking at the negative side of our situation. Did not give us an alternative choice like other esate agents would suggest. If you want to be a mortage advisor you want your service users to feel happy when they leave but when going to connels for mortage advise we felt disheartened. Never using connels for esate agency. I feel like they did not go above and beyond like a estate agent should as that's there job. Maybe others had a good experience but I can say we did not have a good experience. Likewise, will not be using their service again as they were negative about our current situation like I have said.

Connells were very professional up until yesterday when me, my wife , kids and dad were on our way to View a property in Hamilton. W As soon as we were within 0.1 miles of the property, I saw Jayden (connelly agent ) leaving the area in his car on my right .I beeped to get his attention but he continued on his way. We then arrived at the property and waited for over 40 minutes . A complete waste of time . In the meantime I had been calling the office but it went to voucemail each time. I did however get over to Abbey from rge Auction team who tried but could also get through .she even emailed the office but no response. Understandably it was a Saturday but the offices showed open until 4pm and they should have picked. All in All a very unprofessional service particularly by Jayden as he didn't have the courtesy to give me a call to see where I was. In the past whenever I have been late the estate agent officer has always given me a courtesy call or I have been able to get through to them . Very unprofessional and no courtesy and this is just the beginning. Would have given 0 stars on this occasion. I doubt I will be using them again.

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost! Didn't put up a for sale sign, no proactive communication, try to get you to pay extra £500 commission as an 'incentive' for them to do their job of selling your house!!! Tried getting out of the contract early which was a continued "no", but funny that as soon as the Ombudsman was mentioned they dropped us like a stone. Once the property was off the market, after 12 weeks, I was then woken up very early one morning to find a man trying to put up a for sale sign...say no more!

An Estate agent that is not interested in selling houses!

I called them to arrange a viewing and was told they would ring me back when a salesman was back in the office so I waited in for the afternoon and they never rang back. I called the next day told them I had waited in and didnt get an apology and was just told everyone was in a meeting. The property is listed with another agent so I just called them and arranged a viewing with them instead. Now looking at reviews on here I feel I have dodged a bullet! I would be most unhappy as a seller if I thought my agent was letting potential buyers slip away like this, especailly on a property listed with multiple agents!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Lovely staff though. NO actual advice given. Didn't sell it but equally gave no advice about the little changes we could have made which would have helped us. The tenant left it in bad condition and we never visited the property. We relied on them to give us advice, they marketed it, conducted viewings but not once did they say - you should do x & y and this will help the sale. Persuaded us to use their auction option as 'in all the years of me working here, we've never not sold one at auction' - ours didn't sell and we had to pay £6k. We removed it, went on with another agent having done some work and then it sold straight away.

The team were hard to communicate with and not pro active very arrogant and also at time very rude at times particularly the branch manager,My sale was delayed and eventually leading me to pull out because after 9 weeks after accepting an offer the buyer hadn’t even been ID verified.If you want to sell your house please avoid at all cost.
