I honestly would have been so lost in regards to starting the process of buying a house if it wasn't for the amazing people who work there. I could call at any time and they would answer with a smile, often booking me in that day to help clear any concerns I had. I had members of staff who were not even directly linked my mortgage application that would go out of their way to give me any advice and support. I would get calls just to genuinely ask about how the process was going. The staff would even answer questions and give support on queries that was outside of their job role. I cannot say a single bad word about W H Brown in Pudsey. IF anyone is a first time buyer please please go here as you mind will be at rest the second you walk in. Libby was my Mortgage Broker and was just phenomenal throughout, I couldn't have asked for a better person to support me. Catlin who was not assigned to me was always giving me advice and support and was genuinely interested in how the process was going. Please use W H Brown !

Jess was really professional when completing the valuation on our home. She was friendly, well prepared and passionate about selling. The photographer took good photos and was a pleasure to work with on the day. Angela looked after us well and always remained optimistic. She listened to our needs, kept us up to date and explored all options for potential buyers along the with team in Pudsey (including Ruby). I couldn't have asked for any more enthusiasm or effort to obtain potential leads. Unfortunately the market right now did not work in our favour to obtain an offer at the value we had hoped for and so made a difficult decision to wait until things settle. A big thank you to the team for always answering and returning calls, following up leads and trying new ideas to promote our home. Would recommend the Pudsey team as they did get a regular flow of potential buyers through our door. Would recommend if selling again in the future.

PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

The whole process was extremely smooth until towards completion where the chain looked to be in serious danger of collapsing due to delays above ourselves. The team, especially Connor, at William H Brown went above and beyond to help find a resolution for somebody to break the chain and our purchase to complete. As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.
