GoogleExcellent, professional (and most importantly) friendly services from everyone I spoke to at Hunters Yeadon. House hunting is always a very stressful process but I was so impressed by the warm and honest service I received. Natalie showed me around a few properties and was so helpful and welcoming, and Emma was so quick to reply to me, always with a friendly and positive nature - something that isn't always there with other agencies. I will definitely use Hunters again in the future should I decide to buy/sell again.

TrustpilotExcellent experience with Hunters
We had an excellent experience with Hunters from start to finish. Richard, Brenda and Adam were fantastic throughout the entire process - always responsive, easy to contact, and happy to help with any questions we had. Everything ran smoothly with no issues at all, and their professionalism and communication made a potentially stressful process much easier. We would highly recommend Hunters to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

TrustpilotOne of my worst experience buying a house from hunters
One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

TrustpilotRude, poor service - a must avoid for renters
Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

GoogleHunters were able to identify a prospective buyer for my property within days of it being marketed. They have looked after all the viewings and kept me updated with various questions, etc aswell as when the offer was received. A high standard of service throughout...thanks to David and his team at Yeadon

GoogleWe’ve had an excellent experience with Hunters Yeadon and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to sell or buy. From the very beginning, David filled us with far more confidence than other estate agents that our house would be marketed and sold quickly, and he absolutely delivered, with our house now sold STC!
The whole team has been incredibly receptive, approachable, and helpful throughout the process so far. They even advised us when we were making an offer on our new home, which was accepted, and have helped us find the right solicitors, local surveyors and more. A special thank you to Emma and Kim too, who have both been great!

TrustpilotExcellant service
Moving can be hectic, but Dulcie made it so simple with her support, prompt communication, and quick responses from the first viewing in Cullompton right through to the day I collected the keys. She was professional, reassuring, and always ready to help.

GoogleExcellent selling process from start to finish
If you’re here then it’s likely you’re reviewing which estate agent to trust with selling your property, we have just completed with Hunters and we can’t fault the process or the level of service we received from each and every member of staff at the Yeadon branch.
Having first made the mistake of entrusting another local agent with our sale and only achieving 3 enquiries in 6 weeks we approached David and his team for advice and decided to have one last shot at selling in what was a difficult time in the housing market. We got a firm offer within 24 hours of listing and with David’s negotiation achieved 98.6% of the valuation price.
Many many thanks, we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending you and we couldn’t have got there without you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

GoogleSelling my house has been quite overwhelming. After reaching out to four local estate agents, I ultimately selected David Metcalfe based on his impressive presentation for selling my property. Initially, I found the process m viewings to be intimidating as I had not sold a property for a very long time, but David and his team provided me with the necessary support.
I always felt well-informed and supported by David and his team. They instilled in me the assurance that they would do everything possible to help me sell my home promptly. David has played a crucial role in facilitating my transition to my new property, and I am sincerely thankful for his assistance.

TrustpilotAwful customer service
I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

Trustpilotillegal procedures - 1 bed property Sparks Close (Terrible Agent & Terrible Landlord)
1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self

GoogleWe just bought our first home with Hunters, Yeadon. We had a few obstacles on the way which they helped us navigate with the seller and overall it was a positive experience and we will be going back when we come to sell! Kim and Emma always answered the phones and were always happy to help with any query. Claire was fantastic! We had an awful solicitor who didn't respond or give us important information that we needed to know about the selling process. Having previously worked for a solicitor, Claire answered lots of my questions on that and guided us through. When the solicitor was three days late completing and still asking for financial information at 4pm on the day they completed my stress level were through the roof and Claire provided emotional support and guidance on this which I will forever be grateful for. She was even willing to stay online beyond her working hours until the sale had gone through (which luckily it did at 4:55pm) to make sure we were sorted and ok. Claire made me feel like I had a friend holding my hand which was invaluable being a first time buyer with a terrible solicitor.
Thank you Claire. Finally, when the sale had completed, Kim and Emma waited in the office for us so we could get the keys (just as they closed), Thank you Kim and Emma!

TrustpilotMy experience selling a property in the…
My experience selling a property in the UK with this agent was extremely frustrating. For over four months, they delayed the transaction. Despite my constant follow-ups, they kept giving me excuse after excuse, like mortgage problems or minor issues, saying it would happen next week. Eventually, I told them I would pull out and sell to another buyer, but Matthew insisted I still had to pay. I also want to warn people about this company, be very cautious, because in the contract, they include terms that are unfavorable to the client. Once you sign, they do very little to follow up, and you can’t even be sure if the buyer will complete the deal. Their main priority is just getting you to sign, and regardless of whether the sale happens, they still take your money. And when I tried to back out, Matthew actually threatened me, saying that if I didn’t pay, they would escalate it to other departments. I feel this is a form of intimidation.”

GoogleUsed Hunters to sell our home in May-August 2025. Overall wouldn't recommend. The manager David sells you a big pitch but then is no where to be seen for the rest of the process. The communication from most of the agents wasn't good, frequently messages weren't passed on between themselves or to us. Helena, who is responsible for chasing up and down the chain was very good, efficient and had good communication.
However we felt that throughout they all process they favoured our buyers over us, despite us being the ones paying them. On completion day, they gave our house keys to our buyers when they explicitly knew we weren't finished moving out yet, so the buyers turned up and it made for a very awkward exchange where in the end we were not able to 'say goodbye' to our home.
Personally won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend to others.

TrustpilotRobot refused to give me a viewing
Awful experience trying to arrange a viewing. Spent yonks on the phone with a robot. It asked me unnecessary questions and misheard things; then had to reconfirm everything. Eventually it was happy. I hung up and it started again this time by text. In the end it refused to let me have a viewing unless I told them my spending budget - which I wasn't prepared to do. Do not sell your property through these idiots.

GoogleWe had the pleasure of Helena helping us move into our first home and despite complications in our chain, Hunters was there every step of the way to aid communication and nudge for progress. I am so grateful for Helena's help and kindness during a stressful period. The whole team in Yeadon were so quick to respond to calls and emails and celebrated our move with a beautiful hamper of goodies. Thank you Hunters!

The wonderful Helena was soon on board and worked tirelessly to move things forward.

Many thanks Helena you are a great asset to Hunters and a lovely person.

TrustpilotDisappointed
Disappointed, we learned our house purchase had fallen through at the point of us being ready to exchange on our property. We found out that the office had known about it and left it to the agent, who had been looking after us, to tell us after she came back from annual leave! We never got a reason for the purchase to fall through and they even tried delaying us putting an offer in on another property. Luckily this was with another agent and we trusted our gut as the trust with Hunters had gone. 7 weeks later we were in our new home. Felt let down and disappointed with Hunters. This was our first and last time dealing with them.

TrustpilotInvasion of privacy-HUNTERS LETTING AGENTS IN TRING-why not answering e mails matters
HUNTERS LETTING AGENTS IN TRINGThinking of renting via Hunters in Tring? My experience is very poor, at the moment they are not even replying to my e mails. Have had lots of problems with hot water etc, but my Xmas has been ruined by landlord taking it upon themselves to enter my home, poke around, opening cupboards etc, comment on water heater left on, all whilst I am away, under the pretext of a non essential repair that has been outstanding for 4 months at least. Hunters seem to think this is all ok, no reply to any of my e mails (nothing new there), for the last 4 days. I think this is really irresponsible behaviour by a letting agent as this feels like an invasion of privacy, am struggling to get early flight home to try to stop this from happening.I think there are good reasons why Hunters don't actively have a trust pilot account, on reading the reviews that is understandable.

GoogleRecently sold our large family home through Hunters in Yeadon after it had been on with another agent for a few months. The service was professional and friendly and we sold the house within a few weeks of it being launched. The staff, particularly Emma, were wonderful and kept us informed and we would use them again. Not often the perception of estate agents but they were lovely people!!! Thanks
