GoogleLaureen is a lovely person , make you feel comfortable in 2 minutes and I had everything sorted out on my requests, absolutely wish more professionals like her everywhere so then you can ask as many questions you wish , you can understand 100% of anything she is dealing with you without the the experience of you are bothering or you feel yourself annoying her. GoogleI drove 2.5 hrs from Huddersfield to litchfield for a confirmed viewing appointment & Nobody from Adhoc showed on property & finally when I rang the guy he didn't pick my call but surprisingly when I rang using different number he picked the call & told me I reached on wrong time. When I told him about email that I have with date & time, He had no clue or maybe pretend. Terrible experience.

My experience with Ad hoc,and Federicia in particular, have been great so far! I've been a guardian since 2024 and have lived in several properties under Ad hoc management, and each 1 has been memorable in its own way! There's no bells and whistles to the properties, you do get what you pay for, plus bills included, but there is always a nice personality to each property, and you get to meet nice new people.

We initially made a casual enquiry about an absolutely stunning property we saw on Right Move and we were promptly contacted back by Lauren and arranged a viewing. All communication was efficient and professional, but very friendly and with a personal touch too. We had a really enjoyable and happy viewing where we were given all the time we wanted by Lauren to look around the property and ask lots of questions. Lauren made us feel we were welcome, could be ourselves and like we would be fully supported at all times if we were to take up the venture of applying to be property guardians.We decided we wished to take the opportunity of living in an Ad-Hoc property and ever since have been assisted by Lauren with all the administrative side and any questions we had. Lauren has been wonderful, kind, efficient and attentive at all times and never leaves us to wait for a reply to a question. Martin checked us in and now both Martin and Lauren keep contact with us when we have any questions or small teething issues with the property. Both Lauren and Martin give almost immediate responses to any messages or phone calls and answer all questions thoroughly, respectfully and professionally. They also have a little bit of a good sense of humour :-) We have had a really nice introduction to the company and like a previous reviewer mentioned, we feel welcomed and respected, so thank you to Lauren, Martin and everybody at Ad-Hoc.

GoogleI had never house shared before and the experience in Leeds was awesome. Made some friends for life I think. Martin from adhoc was amazing. We were made to feel like we had some responsibility and ownership of the property and in turn felt quite protective of it, he made us feel like his colleagues in a way rather than just tenants in the property. We were allowed to make the property feel like our home and he was quite hands off trusting us to look after it.

From my initial contact with Lauren right through to arranging the date for my checking in at the property, Lauren has been superb. It started well with a clear and concise explanation of what being a property guardian entails. She met myself and my daughter at the house and showed us around answering all questions we posed to her. We managed to sort everything on the spot as the house was perfect for me. Subsequently Lauren helped throughout the referencing process, keeping me up to date on what was happening and time frames. I first rented with Adhoc late 2021 and found it to be good, but after that property closed, they went downhill in my personal experience. I had to leave in the end and find something private last month. The last property I was in was a complete joke from start to finish and even the manager admitted to me on the phone it wasn't good, still had to pay full rent though, that's something they don't scrimp on! We had no bin collections for approx 4 months. A hanging wire in the stairwell was found to be live nearly a year into the tenancy. Fire alarm and legionnaire's disease water system maintenance wasn't carried out for long periods of time, but signed off on the paperwork. There were plenty of false promises made by staff (mainly Trina), some just blatant lies. The maintenance side of things was probably the worst, with minor and major issues taking such a long time to be fixed/resolved. There were so many tenants moving in and out it was so hard to keep track of who was supposed to be there, which is a big part of property guardianship. We were never informed of who the current tenants actually were. Private information about fellow guardians was divulged and I even learnt the code to all of the keys in the building due to incompetence. It's sad because it has all the potential of being a great way to live, but in the southwest it's run very poorly, leaving people vulnerable.
