Sean and his team at John Goodwin Estate Agents, Ledbury did an excellent job of selling my Mum's bungalow in difficult market conditions. The sale prospectus was put together very quickly and communications throughout the sale process were excellent. Negotiations on the sale price were effective and professional. Sean was very proactive and tenacious in his efforts to keep the process moving in a long chain, liaising with all key stakeholders. I have no hesitation in recommending this Estate Agency.

I am an experienced auction buyer but my first time using John Goodwin fine art auctions. I hope to use them again. Excellent service start to finish and an exceptionally low buyers commission. Purchased jewellery items were expertly and discretely packed by James at a very reasonable cost taking into account time, materials and the cost of insurance. Items were packed same day and received the following day after payment.

We went through quite a lengthy difficult sale and purchase whereby the chain collapsed twice. Throughout the entire time the team at John Goodwin were amazing. On the end of the phone when needed, keeping us up to date with information and chasing towards the end when solicitors are absolutely useless! In particular Sam Perkins provided exceptional service and her colleague Emma towards the later stages also provided exceptional service, Thank you both I don’t think it would have gone through without you both.

Although an undoubted expert in the local market her true skill was having the ability to keep track of the myriad moving parts of a complex chain and then communicate the issues clearly and regularly. We have had experience of dealing with John Goodwin Estate Agents for more than 3 years whilst helping first a relative and then when looking for our own home. In that time, we dealt with numerous Estate agents across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire. Some were okay, many were appalling, and some stood out as excellent, with genuine hard-working staff who had not only their own clients, but the customer's interests at heart too. John Goodwin is clearly in this final category. Not simply because they found us our home, but because throughout the entire experience, they treated us with kindness, respect, listened to our needs, and offered help in any way they could. Always professional, they ensured we were kept informed of potential properties and bent over backwards to accommodate us with viewings. When we finally found the right property, they continued to work with us and support us through the whole process, offering recommendations for other professional services, such as Surveyors and Solicitors and ensuring all continued to go smoothly. Having been used to an entirely different system in Scotland, we were grateful for the advice and guidance provided. Although we didn’t experience selling a property with them, I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to use them if I were to sell. I cannot recommend them enough to any prospective purchaser and just wish that more Estate agents in England offered a similar service. Thank you!!

We dealt mainly with Sam & Nick and cant thank them enough for the help and guidance they offered during the whole process of us moving house. They were truly outstanding & they really eased what could have been a potentially stressful situation by working with honesty, professionalism, efficiency & politeness. Although John Goodwin were acting on behalf of the vendors nothing was too much trouble when we had query or needed clarification on something. We had been looking for a new property on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire borders for a couple of years and finally found one through John Goodwin in Ledbury. The whole team that we dealt with, Nick, Sarah and Ann, acted like a team and each were on top of our case when one or the other were on leave. There's always some toing and froing with sellers and in this case the sellers were under time pressure from developers to move quickly into their next home. Nick from John Goodwin very helpfully and pro-actively negotiated with the developers to settle concerns over the completion date and also smoothed a last minute issue which arose. Sarah too was great at finding ways through the usual misunderstandings and concerns that arise in the labyrinth of conveyancing in England. From offer to exchange in around 7 weeks was amazing. We couldn't rate the team more highly: if you want Estate Agents who will seamlessly guide you into your dream home, help smooth turbulent waters and give you a responsive and pro-active service look no further than John Goodwin!
