If I could rate lower I would

If I could rate lower I would! I've been a tenant for just over a year now after having to beg for years to be given a flat,was told this street was quiet but nothing but parties,domestic abuse,criminality and the occasional body bag! Repairs are absolutely terrible,flat was absolutely a health hazard and was covered in animal feaces and hair everywhere, bath was black and green and was still full of filthy water on my viewing day,wdh never even considered they should fumigate or at least clean before allowing a potential tenant to view it! I got a measly 70 quid decoration voucher which surprise surprise can only be spent in the dearest shop in Castleford! They also refused to put a new kitchen in as they said I'm chargeable for the damage? How can you justify that when you know it was like that when I moved in,I made it clear at the time to the officer who showed me the home that I thought it was disgusting but needed to get out of the unlicensed HMO I was living in! Also wdh slammed me with spark energy and I've since found out that this is not allowed, I've had a terrible lengthy battle trying to change supplier, been threatened with bailiffs for money I don't owe as I'm pre pay,as you know they went bust but still didn't stop them trying to extort money from someone who is classed as vulnerable, we are only vulnerable when it suits them,if you tell them you need help they completely fob you off or try getting loads of other people involved with you that do nothing but give bad advice and make your mental health drop immensely! Advice from debt management team,Michelle wdh," maybe you should not declare you have a lodger" thanks for that but that's benefit fraud!

Don't bother- useless

TOTALLY AGREE WITH G Burrow BELOW!!!! Don't bother! They charge nearly as much rent as a private landlord but they give you a rubbish dump to live in and never decorate. They have no respect for anyone's health and wellbeing and cause trouble all the time. They also try to get people to leave!I also think they make people more ill with their rubbish attitude and bullying tactic. They want closing down!

Ok so over the last couple of weeks I have had issues with my heaters. I rang and reported it on the one call number. I've had to call a couple of times as they keep breaking. I've spoken to three different people who have all been so understanding and helpful. They weren't miserable infact were so polite and happy to help they were a joy to speak to. The Electrician that came out 3 times has been amazing. So a massive thank you to you all.

A CHOICE BASED LETTINGS THAT IS FLAWED

Wakefield district housing claim to be choice based lettings and house people in date order of membership yet they don’t do what they say infact they do the opposite and people are clearly discriminated and victimised and I’m living proof and sooner or later I will be getting justice for how they’ve treated me which is (ABSOLUTLEY DISGUSTING) and I’ve got all the evidence to prove this .

Wouldn’t want to be renting from anybody else

Felt like I needed to give this company a good review. As their ratings are down slightly. I’m a WDH tenant. Can’t complain about anything everything they do is for the pure love of helping the working classes. They will come out at 3am if you have issues and are super helpful. Tiny rent prices in comparison. Very helpful
