From initial contact with Patrick Gardner in Bookham we were met with professionalism, energy and the highest quality of service. We have let our house out with PG for many years and not experienced any problems whatsoever. No void periods between tenants, high quality and thoroughly vetted tenants and any maintenance issues were dealt with efficiently and at reasonable cost. In short, Patrick Gardner treated our home as if it were their own. Sarah Rigby is absolutely brilliant, helpful and genuinely keen to help.

I was extremely impressed and happy with choosing Patrick Gardner. Part of the reason, for choosing Patrick Gardner, was that they are local, to where I was living, and also appeared to be the most popular Agents in the whole area. After my first visit I never doubted my decision. During the first visit to take details I felt comfortable and confident. This continued during the 'viewings' which were arranged with convenience and respect considered. I was led and encouraged by all the staff throughout the whole process. All staff were pleasant, calm, encouraging and helpful. Charlotte was exemplary in all her phone calls and correspondence and was also very kind and patient. Patrick Gardner achieved my goal of selling the house. I was updated all the time. I always felt I could contact PG at any time and no question was too much to answer. I was made to feel relaxed, at ease and optimistic. Without hesitation I shall be contacting Patrick Gardner, again, in the autumn as I have another property to sell. I am confident it will not be a problem for them and look forward to working with the team again.

We have had our late mother's bungalow rented and managed by Patrick Gardner Lettings team for three years and it has been pretty seamless. Both sets of tenants have really looked after the property and the lettings team, especially Sarah Rigby, have been communicative, helpful and understanding in what has been a turbulent time. Cannot manage landlord’s to save their lives. Made our once fabulous letting in Bookham into a nightmare. Constantly went out of their way to make our move out of a long-term tenancy unpleasant by organising viewings in our last week of tenancy. Moreover tried to blame us for a water ingress issue that was investigated and repaired during the tenancy.

Recently brought a house in Effingham using Patrick Garner. Our estate agent was Pam who was lovely, easy to talk to and made regular contact with us. The viewing went well and we put an offer in the same day. Everything went through fine, issues with settling a date but that wasn’t the estate agents fault. We exchanged keys quite earlier on the exchange date and collected the key from the estate agent. We were told that they would be dropping more keys to the property. We moved our possessions in and left the property to go out and get some food and on our return, the previous tenants had entered and taken items they had left behind. Not only is this burglary and trespass but when we reached out to Patrick Gardner they seemed to have no issue with this happening. I was disgusted with their response and didn’t feel as if they were bothered that we now felt unsafe in our new property.

I am not impressed with the service I received from Patrick Gadner & Co. I feel I was initially misled with regard to the situation of the buyers. There were 2 offers at the same time and SarahJane recommended the offer I then went on to accept. As I did not meet the buyers due to covid rules I followed the agents advice. Their mortgage was not in place, an important fact that was not made clear. There was no communication with the agent unless I contacted them until I went into the office, after that contact was better. Thankfully the sale has now completed. I begrudge the agents fee because I feel their service did not warrant their charge. Sadly I would not recommend this agent.

Terrible service from a tenant's perspective. Slow/no resolutions to issues with the property include but not limited to a woodlice infestation, moss growing through windows, broken blinds in the lounge and the bathroom etc. Receiving unwarrented invoices for rents despite no payments being missed. Them trying to gaslight me into believing the property was professionally cleaned upon moving in despite many issues with cleanliness at the start.

Great at finding us a place for long term tenancy only to get rid of us 18 months in. The way they handle their landlords in the letting department is pretty awful. They always back the landlords side and never try to make things easy for the tenants. It’s a shame they allowed it to get so bad, I’m sure there are great people working there.
