GoogleWas considering purchasing a house on this estate and went to look at it. Was totally unimpressed. Houses were totally cramped together with very little space between. Got the impression that Persimmon were trying to build the maximum possible number of houses possible on the site. Even though some of the houses were detached, they were built so close to each other, they actually looked like terraces. Not for me, no thank you. Better new builds out there. Very close to motorway too.

GoogleDON’T buy a house here. Once Persimmons sign the contract and take your money, they don’t actually care about the estate. Before completing they will get you to agree with the covenants in the deeds, yet they won’t actually uphold these. HMO’s are being run in many of the houses on one of the streets. Also Airbnb’s, you literally have no idea who is staying next door to you. Landlords aren’t doing the relevant checks, using false photos of the property and accepting cash transfers for the rent. At the moment, this seems far from a nice family estate. Do not buy, don’t give persimmons your money.

GoogleDO NOT BUY a property on this estate. Persimmon fail to uphold the covenants that you are forced to agree to. HMO properties are popping up left, right and centre with unlicensed landlords and dodgy ad listings and Airbnb listings. Customer service are beyond useless and don’t seem to have any answers and take their time getting back to people, if at all. Happy to speak to Persimmon if they can be bothered to read this and reach out to me.

GoogleAVOID buying here. They sell you properties with a contract to say no businesses or HMOS yet many houses are already being run as businesses with 3 already being used like hostels in the same cul de sac. Fake landlords and no security checks. Extremely worrying
