GoogleI went yesterday to view a 3 bed show home which was decorated to a very high standard. Excellent quality of fittings and fixtures. I fell in love with it. My rating is low because the lady who dealt with us, although she was very professional, had no welcoming smile on her face. She also didn't know anything about Burnley and as we were new to the area, it wasn't helpful. She referred me to some one else and told me they would call me. She did mention about other 110 homes to be built in the area and another commercial development aswell but no mention of this land being a coal mine land in the past. I'm now really worried if it is worth investing my money on one of the houses? I just read couple of bad reviews about it. I hope Barratt can shed some light on it? I'm a big fan of Barratt homes and I'm really looking forward to buying one but!

GoogleWhat they are not telling people that have purchased is the access road will lead to another 110 houses at the top of it that have NOT YET BEEN BUILT . But are going to be built . The road will be like a main rd and it’s very bad to get out of . But they won’t tell you this but we are residents of the area . Hope this helps .

GooglePlease please check the planning applications on Burnley website before you go ahead with reserving any plots - this site is built on old coal mine shafts and they don’t bother to mention that when they are trying to sell to you! The plot we were interested in we discovered had TWO mine shafts in the front garden. Only interested in getting their hands on your house for part ex. Avoid.
