We have been customers with Pedder Sydenham for almost 10 years. First we bought a property with the help of Pedder then we acted as landlords for a property fully managed by Pedder and most recently we have sold a property with the help of Pedder. Over the years the whole team has been very helpful and Natasha has been with us throughout the journey. Most recently Cansu has been an absolute star for us and she has been extremely helpful throughout the sales process, always providing speedy and to the point responses, displaying great dedication, knowledge, professionalism and all-round great customer service.Many thanks again to Cansu, Natasha and the whole team at Pedder Sydenham - keep up the great work!

Derek is the best property manager we ever had!

General Pedder services are ok but won’t say they excel. We have been using them for managed letting agent for several years now - fees are high and the property managers vary in quality. The sub -contractors coming in to do the work however are absolute joke, shabby work and often have been to called back for multiple fixes and they charge you each time

TLDR: no hot water for 2 months, Pedder dropped management of our property with 2 days notice in the middle of a crisis - an absolute disgrace!!! Lived at one of their properties from November 24 for a year. Everything seemed very legitimate with paperwork and uploading documents via good lord. The property (Streatham Hill) was in very good condition at the start. HOWEVER A few months into living here it appeared one of our pipes had a leak which was dripping to the downstairs flat. We let the agency know and they sent people to have a look however they didn’t seem to treat it as urgent - they should have because a month later (July 24th) the leak had worsened and the flat below rightly called emergency services to turn our water off. We called the agency again and they sent someone the next day, but we were left without any water until a few days later. On 28th July he revisited and turned on our water but isolated the cold water, meaning we were left with no hot water. A few weeks passed and nothing was fixed despite us contacting them. A month and a half passed and it had yet to be fixed. On top of this communications from the agency were poor and on 8th September we received an email from Pedder saying they were ceasing management of our property with 2 DAYS NOTICE!!! - from 10th September we would have to communicate directly with the landlady with no support from Pedder. A huge slap in the face considering we had set up a contract for a year and expected to be helped by them to resolve issues with the flat. The hot water finally got fixed on 22nd September. The landlady was extremely unprofessional and was ringing my personal phone at least twice a week to tell me about her personal life and struggles all while taking full rent and providing sub par living conditions. The agents I’m sure were aware of her being a tricky person to deal with yet left us in the lurch to communicate directly with her. They took our money and abandoned us when we needed them - disgusting behaviour which they should be ashamed of!

Pedder Dulwich Village were the acting agents for the vendor of our recent flat purchase, and Sales Consultant Catherine Douglas was excellent from our second viewing with her to completion. She took the time to answer all of our queries promptly, and regularly followed up with the solicitors on both sides to keep the process moving as it should. We completed exactly three months to the day after our offer was accepted, and most of the credit for this goes to Catherine! When we come to sell our new property we would definitely choose Pedder to market it for us.

Phillippa at Pedder's in East Dulwich was great to work with. Arranging viewings and surveys were easy. Communication was always prompt and efficient. When we were having issues with our bank, she put us in touch with her broker who helped give us some tips on how to nudge the bank along. She kept in touch with us to make sure things were moving along, but not in a nagging way (we've dealt with that from other agents). Clear, consistent and excellent service This review is for Mollie, who has been progressing and dealing with so many hurdles in the purchase of a property. It hasn't been easy, with many changes along the way, but she has been unbelievable and made the whole process as smooth as it could of been, taking on an abundance of responsibility for so many aspects of the sale. Any time we spoke with Mollie, she calmed and reassured us with every bit of information we needed during the call, meaning no waiting for call backs or being left in the dark on matters.Our sellers are without internet and elderly, so she hand delivered and collected all paperwork which I am sure was outside of the scope of works for her but she did it anyway and always did so with so much energy and pride. Myself, and my pregnant wife, have felt reassured and confident the whole time and would highly recommend Mollie and Pedder to anyone in the area. We have just exchanged with completion due in Jan. Summer Purchase

This one is a little late but I wanted to say a big thank you to Phillippa and the team. Earlier in the year we were looking for a property to buy. Phillippa was able to get us in to see a great property in East Dulwich which we were fortunate enough to complete on during the summer. We really enjoyed working with Philippa on the purchase and we are delighted to be spending our first Christmas in our new home.
