GoogleIt’s a false economy trying house sales on the cheap, Marsh Parsons found the buyers, filtered out the time wasters and smashed asking price within a week and kept focused till completion. They are the business.

TrustpilotAlarming Incompetence: Urgent issues not dealt with
Unfortunately my experience is very similar to the reviews that are already posted here which is frustrating and alarming and should set off alarm bells for any respectable company who wants to remain viable. I’ve never seen so many negative comments levelled against a company. The pain point for me is reporting urgent issues that never get dealt with, the high turn over of remarkably incompetent agents (bar 1 or 2) who have no idea how to communicate or execute their role or assume any level of responsibility.A company that has such high turnover is a red flag in itself. There’s obviously no adequate training or retention strategy to encourage employees to develop in their role or stay. Senior management don’t seem to exist or just hide behind their front line colleagues. Anyone with that title working for Marsh and Parons needs to re-educate themselves on what management means. Specifically for us, how long should a family have to wait for a replacement fridge after the door falls off twice on the floor ?? We’re now waiting 5 days for a solution with me chasing daily as the agents in charge don’t seem to comprehend a sense of urgency and when I ask to escalate , there’s no-one from senior mngt available to speak with. A fridge is a vital appliance and this situation is getting stressful. We’re also waiting 7 months on a leak in a roof that’s causing rain water to pour onto the kitchen table, a gate pillar that’s wobbly and can fall onto a public footpath and dampness thats creeping through the property and needs to be managed. The response is we can’t reach your landlord or we’ll chase that so the onus is back to us to keep chasing …we pay our rent every month without fail, maintain the property to a very high standard. As a landlord myself I would never dream of using such an unprofessional and incompetent agency to have anything to do with my property.

I would give them a - 10 negative review if I could. They con customers and dont care. They use a tenant referencing agency who give a glowing review which is a pack of lies saying the tenant is in a well paid job, when she is unemployed, a false employee reference, saying that the previous landlord gave a good reference when infact he evicted her. Once she was evicted Marsh and Parsons took no responsibility and fight it with a dubious solicitor.M & P should be SHUT DOWN. Even when the Directors are alerted they dont want to know.

I honestly don't know how this company is still in business. I have rented my property with them for the last year. Their fees are extortionate. Their only interest is in making money. Never having rented before they conned me in to a three year contract. I was told that I would have a get out clause after a year but did not realise that this should have been stated in the contract. The tenants never pay the rent on time and Marsh and Parsons offer an appalling service with very poor communication. They do not do what they say they will. You pay the money upfront so there is no incentive for them to give you a good service. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Current tenant of Marsh and Parsons. Dealings with the Brooke Green Agents. I have spent years being a Lettings & Property Manager myself and I have never witnessed such awful customer service...From the offbeat - pushy. Put us into a 3-year contract. Made us pay the deposit and rent before we passed our references. Our move-in date got pushed back and I had to fight to change the start date of the contract we had already signed to the new move-in date. And then once we had already moved into the property, we were told we hadn't passed a 'secondary reference' required by the building management so we actually shouldn't have been given keys. Moved in and there was a broken window which they didn't fix for well over a week. Numerous maintenance issues which still have had no reasonable resolve over a year later. They have now put the flat on the market for sale without informing us (I had to see it on Rightmove) - and their Sales department clearly didn't inform the Lettings/Property Management department or tell the landlord that he would need to be looking for buy-to-let buyer as it is currently being sold as empty... huh. Just complete lack of communication or care. I feel sorry for this landlord, no wonder they want to sell this flat.

This organisation should not be in business. My daughter left a tenancy and they are still trying to get us to pay rent after the event. Trying to get it sorted is a nightmare as they have no central customer service team or escalation process. I know it's hard to find a property but using this bunch of cowboys will only cause stress in the long run. They are still after many months trying to get money from me and completely unable to get a person from their management to talk to

The majority of reviews are bad here and I understand why. I have rented a property for nearly 2 years from them. The service is atrocious. Very unhelpful and unsupportive. They conned me into a 2 year lease and then when I explained I had been in hospital and wanted to end my tenancy early they couldn't have cared less. Now I have rats in my property and surprise surprise they're not interested. All they care about is making money and they have shown no humanity. It's a disgrace and the company should be ashamed of itself. I will never rent from them again.
