Poor care

My tenancy ended more than a month ago and Knight Frank still has not returned my deposit. I have contacted them repeatedly and have been told several times that the deposit would be sent “tomorrow”, yet the payment has still not been received. The most frustrating part has been the repeated promises without any resolution or clear explanation for the delay. I have now had to make a formal complaint and consider escalating the matter externally. This has been an extremely disappointing experience, particularly from a company of Knight Frank’s size and reputation.

Helpful and responsive

Knight Frank took over the management of my flat recently. Lety has been extremely helpful and communicative in solving any issues as they arise. She makes sure to follow up with external providers like plumbers until the problem is completely solved. When a problem occurred late on a Friday she made sure that the situation was ok through the weekend before the problem could be fully addressed on Monday. I appreciate her timeliness and responsiveness!

Louna was exceptional

I rented a flat in Elephant and Castle with Louna Del Barrio as the agent. I’ve worked with many agents over the years as landlord and as tenant and she was easily the best. Friendly, straightforward and upfront; genuinely helpful; energetic but not at all pushy; and above all I felt she really wanted to help me find the right place for me, and not just secure a quick deal. I know I can trust her. Aftercare after the tenancy was agreed has also been exceptional.

Knight Frank were always quick to respond and follow up any questions we had about purchasing the property, from our initial viewing to completion. The agent we were dealing with quickly grasped any relevant factors and was focused on finding a way to move the process on. I've been working with Ava Ho at Knight Frank for a while now and honestly couldn't be happier. She's prompt, efficient, and always on top of things, I never have to follow up twice. As someone who travels a lot, this matters more than anything. Shocking

Clear and categoric assurances were sought before signing up with KF regarding marketing, communication, dedicated personnel for viewing and ongoing reporting during an agreed six month marketing campaign. All were blatantly ignored thereafter and in fact we heard not a word from them for nearly 4 months at one point! When I contacted them to ask why, I received a glib, one line unsubstantiated assurance regarding their ongoing efforts followed by a further periond of silence. Not once did I receive a progress report as I had been promised, or any communication at all in the last three months of the campaign unless I was chasing them. When the six months came to an end, I had to ask them to remove my property from their listings, which I was assured would happen immediately. Of course they did nothing and I had to chase them again two months later, after I learned from another agent that it was still there!

In line with our previous review on KF sales and letting departments respectively also five stars for our property manager Kristian Lee. Kristian is managing our two new build apartments to our fullest satisfaction. He follows all issues related to the properties as well as the rental agreement diligently and very competently. He engages with our tenants and all their requests promptly while keeping us informed throughout. Kristian is very approachable and it is a pleasure to work with him.
