Dear Morwenna, Thank you for your comment. You lived at 54 Evelina Road, along with your co-tenants - Sophie-Nicole, Sophie, Stephanie and Olivia. We are sorry that you feel like you were disappointed with our services. It is important to bare in mind that the Tenants Deposit Scheme is put in place to first protect the tenants as a priority before anyone else. Eaton Green believe that your purported dissatisfaction is down to the fact that your security deposit was taken to TDS dispute, and you all saw this as an inconvenience. In regard to the alleged damp issues that you have touched upon above, Eaton Green can only boil this down to your inexperience as tenants. Firstly, the issues experienced was condensation - not damp. Being students and living away from home can prove challenging, as you all demonstrated by poorly ventilating the property thus causing the condensation. Despite being provided with a condensation leaflet when at the start of your tenancy, Eaton Green have never known for damp to appear on the first floor of a property. Additionally, our Property Managers recall finding it particularly difficult in trying to contact all tenants when arranging for contractors to attend maintenance issues. However, if we do not receive equivalent cooperation from tenants then this is not a fault on our behalf. We would like to apologise once again if our services were not to your satisfaction. Although, it does appears that you are currently in severe rental arrears and are actively being pursed for outstanding rent payments.
