Upgrading work under difficult circumstances

We have had a lot of upgrading work done to a house that had not had a change of tenant for many years, only to then find we needed additional works when it was declared a HMO. Chris and Pam have given us excellent service and achieved this with the tenants in situ, and in difficult circumstances while Covid was still a factor.

Was hugely sceptical about hiring an agent, but Dexters worked tirelessly for us, from going to market to completion, the entire team have been truly exceptional. We interviewed a number of agents but took a liking to John as he was by far the most astute, realistic and honest of all of the people we met. The consideration and attention he gave to us was replicated by the entire team we dealt with, Nathan, George and Michelle were diligent and utterly dependable with their communication while scheduling and conducting viewings. After going sale agreed, Michelle and Davina went above and beyond to keep the sale progressing, and as things came down to the wire they worked with both solicitors on our behalf to ensure completion happened on time. I can't even begin to summarise how much hassle they've saved us the past few weeks.

Our flat purchase turned out to be much more challenging than we had anticipated, with very unresponsive solicitors on both sides. George and Dominic went above and beyond to support us with the purchase and consistently chased solicitors and used their contacts to escalate where necessary. Using their experience and extensive knowledge to keep us at ease during some fo the more challenging stages of the process. We were in contact with George and Dominic daily through some parts of the process and they both remained calm, professional and supportive from the start to the end and we couldn't be more grateful. Our purchase completed at the end of July, just 11 weeks post the accepted offer and I can honestly say it probably would have been another 11 weeks without George and Dominic's support.
