Overseas First-time Landlord Review

Dexters have been managing our Clapham property since over 2yrs, and we are very happy with their service overall. The lettings department is extremely efficient. With we having moved overseas, communication wrt managing the property was always going to be a challenge, but a special shout out to Tia Blackmore-Saunders who has been extremely helpful, polite, very prompt in her responses to our queries, and very clear in her communication throughout.

Andrew and the team at Dexters Clapham High Street have been great, from the checkout of the previous tenant to finding new tenants and the follow up afterwards. The timely reminder regarding the gas safe certificate and even taking care of that and a boiler service. We will definitely be using Dexters again for our other properties. I recently sold my flat through Dexters. I've bought and sold a few properties over the years and the process is stressful at the best of times. The thing which impressed me most about the manager Gabriel and his team was the level of enthusiasm and transparency they displayed throughout the whole process. With other agents that I've used in the past I've never been kept in the loop and constantly needed to call for an update. Their competence and attention to detail kept everything moving along. Unfortunately I've also experienced agents who have attempted to persuade me to accept an offer to get the deal done as quickly as possible. I never had this with Dexters. In fact they made an excellent call which resulted in my receiving a better offer. You have to look very hard to find that attitude in the property market. I would not hesitate in using Dexters again nor recommending them to others.
