The sales executive we dealt with, Naomi Bell - couldn’t fault her. Although we did not end up purchasing from Gleeson, the process of viewing the show home and discussing our options was very smooth, down to her attentiveness and communication. Only reason this isn’t 5*is because we didn’t go through with the property, so can’t speak for that aspect. Other than that, great all round!

TrustpilotYou wouldn't buy an old house without a survey!
It should really go without saying with new build homes but GET A PROFESSIONAL SNAGGER. Every home is going to have its issues, new or old. It's as important to get a snagger out as you would get a survey for an older house. Being first time buyers, we had no clue what to look for.We got one out 3 days after getting the keys, they generated a professional report which we submitted to Gleeson's who then arranged an in person meeting at my home to go over the issues and book in whatever was needed mere days later. For us, both the pre-sales and aftersales have been amazing. Very clear clarifications on anything we asked about and even silly stuff like paint finishes they are more than willing to correct.

I posted a review a couple of weeks ago about the absolute rubbish non existent customer service and quality of Gleeson new builds. My review highlighted the fact we had been left with a major security issue at the back of the house. I feel compelled to write another review as this security issue has still not been fixed and we have been advised that the best solution for the time being is to tie the door closed, I’m not sure how that is security but trying to get in contact with Gleesons is like asking for a gold coin. If you want to buy a new build house… don’t buy from Gleesons. You do all the running around and chasing of company’s, be prepared to ring over 35 times to customer service and still get no where. And to finish off, whoever, replies to these reviews please don’t reply to this one as your response of, someone from customer service will be in contact is utter rubbish and another one of your lies. Let’s be honest you have our money so your job is done in your eyes!

We found our experience with Gleeson Homes to be really positive. Zara helped us with our journey, she was incredibly friendly and supportive throughout the whole experience. She kept us updated, answered all our silly questions and made move in day really special. The house had a few imperfections, but they were dealt with quickly, the workmen on site are so friendly and really helpful. We love our new home!

Alex at site office and Rod who is site manager were wonderful individuals who have taken personal care and time to make sure I am comfortable during settling down into new home and have attended everything required in time. TrustpilotI completed the purchase of my house in…
I completed the purchase of my house in Dane Park, Hull in August 2020.On the final inspection I picked out a few problems that I could see, which I was told would be complete on completion on the 13th. Most of these works was not done, so we made a snagging list on completion day.The myglesson app was not sent to me, nor did I have any login information.I manually wrote this all up and sent it to the relevant people on email.I have had to chase the company many times to get the work completed and this still has not happened.The patio doors had scratches on the bottom of one door trim, which is pictured below. This was picked up on completion and has still not been rectified. This problem was attempted to be fixed by sanding it down, which I was appalled with and I am still awaiting an outcome. I replaced all the lights in the house to find that in the downstairs toilet that there is a big hole behind the light fitting, the hole is fist sized and I cannot fit a new light in its place due to the size of the hole. Firstly, I was told that they would use spray foam then just fill over it, which I told them no way. Joe from customer care advised me that this would be repaired properly. I am still awaiting this to be repaired to this day. Spoke to site manager on Thursday 26th November and he said there is nothing wrong with the big hole and it was acceptable. My house paintwork was in a poor state, living room ceiling was a mess and needed to be plastered.I got in touch with customer care and they arranged to visit my property.We went through all my issues and Joe documented this up.The painter/decorator came round to check the house and told me that to put everything right that he would need 5 days. He was given 2 days to complete. He started works which improved the house. There are still a few paint jobs that the painter did not get around too. Unfortunately, the mess afterwards was horrendous, I had paint on the back of my TV and on my units which where all brand new. This took me and my partner all night to clean up the house.One of the latest jobs where for the kickboards in the kitchen to be sorted as they are marked. I pictured this and they fixed the mark. The issue is they only fixed the mark that I pictured. The rest of the kickboard had chips in it and paint on it, but this was left and was told the job was complete as they fixed what the picture showed. This is what I was told by the site manager. This was my final straw. I pulled out the kickboards and put them in my front garden. Also, behind the Kickboards was a nice little mess the workers left behind.Finally, I come onto my last, but in my opinion the most important part, the issues with the majority of my door framesThe frames are a complete mess and on closer inspection you can see where the wood has been stuck back on and painted. This to me seems like a big job for all the frames to be fixed, but I would like the job to be completed professionally.Today 19th Dec I became aware that my fan in the kitchen was not connected.After weeks of waiting for things to be done and not having a response for over 3 weeks I am now seeking legal advice and posting to the public my issues so they can see for themselves what type of company Glesson are and how they deal with things.

We cannot fault Gleeson! They have been fantastic with us! We have a 4 bed house on Canal Walk Development. The house is absolutely lovely. The sales/support team have remained great and consistent throughout. The building team are also great. There were only a a couple of snags and they were quickly resolved. A couple more small things have popped up, but they’ve been straight round to sort them. We are very happy in our new home; it’s perfect for our little family to grow up in, with an amazing sized garden for a new build and we only have good things to say about our house and the whole Gleeson team! So thank you!

Very minimal issues with our first home at Sutton Heights, and any issues we did notice were already picked up on by Ian, the site manager, who seems to take real pride in the homes which is lovely. I have a new Gleeson Home at MacDonald Park. I'm extremely happy with the new home. From the day 1 when I visited the showroom, then choose my dream house, till now completion and get the keys, those sales staff are very helpful and responsible. I was kept inform the construction stages of my property, even during the lock down period.On the day of final checking, I had prepared some A4 paper to write down the defects, but at last, I didn't need to use it. Only 2 minor defects were found. The site manager fixed them all on the following days.The site manager is experience with patient to explain everything of my house in details. The sales lady Madam Sue is good, friendly and helpful.Perhaps, you may read many different reviews saying how bad Gleeson was. But you must browse the instagram, then you knows there are lots of happy faces whom with a Gleeson home. At least, you should visit the site and talk to those home owners, you know the facts. Finally, I must say thank you to Gleeson Home. They build the affordable nice new homes so that I can be one of the home owner.
