Hi, I forgot to mention, the upstairs bathroom doesn't come with a shower. It is only a bath tub. It is half tiled. I had an estimate from a guy that wanted £1,200. to do this. Please read my other review. I'm disgusted. Snag list is a mile long. Whole house needs replastered. Incententives were taken from me. If you buy a Gleeson house, get whatever it is in writing. Shortly after I bought my house at Rhodes Point, carpets and flooring is standard. There is a Kilkenny model across from me, detached, single garage for £14k less than mine, all upgrades included. After reading a lot of negative reviews regarding after sales care, I wanted to post about my recent experience with gleeson. We have been in the property for 2 months now. I used a professional snagging service pre completion but completed before all corrections were made. Since then, most of the list has been completed. Gleeson have a dedicated follow up team who call you to follow up on your experience and discuss your snagging list. I was provided the mobile number of the 2 site managers when we moved in incase of any issues. The team have responded quickly to everything raised. They have been the ones chasing to get hold of me to sort the list of minor corrections out. I have been really happy with the experience as a whole. We have a lot of house for our budget, and so far without compromise.

I stopped by the Acklam Gardens development to view a show house type I wasn’t able to see on the development I’m looking at, upon stepping into the office I was greeted with a friendly welcome from Jackie. Despite not having interest in that specific development, Jackie spent a considerable amount of time listening to and answering questions around the house types and Gleeson homes overall, she was knowledgeable and professional in a warm and genuine way which didn’t give off any hard sell. It was a pleasure to be greeted with Jackie after having a range of different experiences whilst out viewing different developments across a range of builders. I was able to leave with my questions answered alongside more information which has certainly added to my buying experience - overall, great experience.

Was pressured to move into the property (Erin road) as quick as possible, then when I moved in the garden and the fencing were not even complete, there was no privacy at all from a busy road, they said the reasons for this was because they had to re-level the gardens at the back. They have promised us that they will be turfing the garden but weeks later this has still not been done, with warmer weather coming I cannot even use my garden. Several defects reported as well but takes them an age to deal with anything. Would avoid buying from these at all costs

Would never buy from gleeson again in my life. They have missed bricks out of the top of my house which I have complained about numerous of times and still two years on no one has been to my property to rectify this problem. I know have birds in my roof which is causing a lot of problems as you can imagine. I’ve rang up multiple of times to be told to go on my online portal and complain threw them which I have explained numerous of times I have no access to this due to a relationship break down and no one seems to know what else to do if you can’t complain on the portals. This is getting beyond a joke

Spoke to a lovely lady arranged appointment jobs a goodin, …..Website is very deceiving 1st lady I spoke told me with my deposit they would ad 5% then then options of ,what I read as 6k worth of upgrade. Kitchen, floors, etc was made up . Don’t like new builds but this was to good to miss! Got there..NOTHING, upgrade was not as “defined “ in fancy category offered detached with upgrade of or 5% either or! You get fences and trurf!! How is putting a fence up an upgrade?? Bitterly disappointed with don’t care attitude of the woman I went to see. Attitude stunk wasn’t interested at as the houses are selling so doesn’t really care. Read carefully before you waste your dav viewing them, she even said wasn’t her job to deals

After reading the recent review put on by my dad, I am absolutely appauled. The Regional Construction Manager came round and didnt even have a look at the matter. It is nothing to do with the boiler. We mentioned that it is the thermostats that we cannot set them automatically. You clearly cannot read what has been said and if nothing is done by the end of this week, then we are taking legal action to the NHBC as you clearly cannot be bothered to deal with peoples issues. We have been reporting this over the last 12 months and it is absolutely pathetic that you claim you have dealt with the matter when clearly you haven't

Due to a recent phone call from Gleesons customer care at 8:30am on the 22nd of April. They asked me about my central heating issues which we have reported since we moved into the property in July 2022. During the phone call, I was being advised to keep reporting the matter on my gleesons. On numerous occasions, they have just been ignoring us, they keep saying they will send someone out to have a look at the issue, but nobody has been round to our house. I have now been advised to take legal action against the company. We have spoken to a solicitor and they have said that we have a good case and we are now looking to take legal action.

Good afternoon PeterWe have spoken at length about this issue on multiple occasions, culminating in our Regional Construction Director attending your home to investigate. During this visit it was established that the boiler was being switched off by yourself, and you were advised not to repeatedly turn it on and off. Please can you ensure that you follow these instructions as your boiler will not heat your home appropriately if it is switched off.
