FacebookAfter having terrible experiences with estate agents we were very close to giving up on buying a new property.When we saw our dream home advertised via English Rose we decided to go for it.Jess and her team were absolutely FANTASTIC! They were always very responsive to emails, phone calls and even texts which we found to be so helpful during the buying process. If we were told to expect a call back we always received one. Their customer service and communication is brilliant and I reccomend them to everyone.After months of renovation and decoration our dream home is now almost complete and upon completion I will be inviting them in to conduct a valuation as I'm sure they'll be intrigued to see the extensive renovations we have conducted. it'll also be a pleasure to have them back into our home. GoogleBooked a viewing of a house for today, 8/9/21, at 4:30. Called in the morning to confirm I was coming for the viewing, and also said I was ready to make an offer on the spot, drove 4hrs from Barry , Wales for the appointment, only to be told the house was sold. Absolutely gutted and extremely disappointed at the poor conduct of this estate agents. *Just edit in review as I felt 1 star is harsh, but also in response to your reply, I spoke to you on the morning of the viewing and told you I was in Wales but coming up specially for the viewing.NegativeQuality, Professionalism
Dear Mr McSweeney I am very sorry you feel this way. As a small independent business our reputation is extremely important to us as we gain a huge amount of business through referral's . I would like to stress we always do our very best in order to ensure our clients get the best service 100% of the time. It was myself that took your booking and as I recall it was booked for this time as you were working locally in the Derby area. You were offered a morning appointment (as this is when the first viewings were taking place) but you were unable to attend due to work commitments. I also recall a telephone call form yourself on Tuesday the 7th September asking for your viewing to be bought forward as you were viewing a property on the same street that day. Unfortunately we were unable to oblige due to other appointments so the viewing was left for 4.30pm today Wednesday the 8th September. At no point were we made aware you would be making a 4 hour journey for this viewing and from previous conversations it would seem apparent that you were in the area. This mornings viewings went extremely well and we received an offer over asking price from a buyer who was in an excellent position on the understanding that all future viewings were cancelled. This was put forward to the vendor who was extremely happy and accepted. Ultimately this is the vendors decision and we have to be lead by them. Due to this situation you were called at 1.50pm, and text to cancel your viewing. We have fallen fowl of this in the past, not cancelled viewings and then viewers are extremely disappointed / frustrated because they feel their time has been wasted. We heard nothing back from you until ten past three when you confirmed via text that you were disappointed as you were just leaving work for the viewing. I feel very disappointed that we have received this review from you but I do believe we have been 100% upfront and honest and unfortunately in a very fast moving market that we are currently in we have to act quickly in order to secure the best buyer for our vendors. I am extremely sorry you feel as an agent we have conducted ourselves poorly but after reviewing the situation I feel we acted correctly in a difficult situation.
