FacebookI was very fortunate to connect with Jake. Right from the start he was very helpful, polite, never pushy, and made me feel comfortable. I had not dealt with real estate in 15 years and Jake was able to guide me and bring me up to date on the process. Jake asked me what I was looking for, what my needs were and set me up on the real estate mailing list. My move was from Toronto to Kingston, I had no vehicle, and we were in the middle of the pandemic. Jake suggested virtual walk throughs so that's what we did. His knowledge of home construction and of the Kingston area was a great help. There were a few homes that we went through that Jake suggested weren't for me. He wasn't just looking to make a sale, he was looking to make a match, and in the long run that's exactly what he did. He found me a great Kingston home that suited my needs. Even after I had moved into my new home, I had lots of questions and Jake was more than willing to answer and help out. Buying a house is a big move and I'm very fortunate to have done so with Jake's help. Thanks!

Jake offered a warm greeting and positive attitude when we were looking to move to Kingston. He toured us through countless homes and helped us find the perfect one for our family. Importantly, he showed us homes in areas we thought we wanted to live and a few homes in areas he thought we might like - we ended up surprised to find an area we knew little about and happy to find a home that was a good fit for our family. Anne was always available to support when we had questions or needed to get paperwork processed quickly. We are so grateful for their knowledge, time and patience as we worked together.

Anne was very flexible with her time showing us homes outside business hours, doing FaceTime walk throughs and answering all of our (sometimes dumb!) questions. Not in it just for the sale at all, she made it clear when she felt the home wasn’t for us. A realtor with heart is a good summary of Anne, she helped our little family find and secure an ideal home!

FacebookFirst time buyer here, and I had no clue what was involved with buying a house - to the point where when I reached out to Anne the first time it's because I thought she was the listing agent for a property I wanted to see - that's how little I knew. She walked me through the house, asked some questions, sussed out that I knew squat about the process, and kindly walked me through the basics and things I should know. I immediately felt more comfortable with everything - and when I was finally ready to start looking seriously, I knew who to call. She explains everything so well - I felt like every decision I made was an educated one, and that all her suggestions had my best interests at heart. FacebookThis past weekend I just moved into my very first home that Jake found for me. He was a fantastic realtor and not the least bit pushy. He could’ve pressured me into buying one of the several homes we looked at over a couple of years working together, but he was just as picky as I was ensuring I got what I was looking for. His construction background gave me a good idea how much repairs and replacements would cost me which was so important given how fast you need to act with real estate in Kingston. He never got upset when I would grimace at the smell of some old homes and would laugh with me at some of the bizarre places we looked at. My work schedule isn’t very flexible and when Jake couldn’t meet me to see the house right away, his wife Anne, who is also an excellent realtor, would accommodate me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and Anne to anybody. I also consider them friends now and would love to host them at my new digs - I don’t think a lot of people would say this about their realtors!

GoogleOne of their landlords attempted to defaud me of significant sums with a false deposit deduction that was transacted via their office. On discovering this and attempting to contact the agent about this matter, they brushed me off with an outright lie that they dont deal with that property - despite me having an email chain of them handling the entire matter. They simply refused to look into it. Fortunately with some lawyers involved the matter was eventually sorted, but clearly they don't take tenants' money seriously, except inasmuch as they can milk it. If you want an agency who gives a damn about tenants' basic legal rights, look elsewhere
