I wanted to save costs on Selling my shared ownership property and honestly felt like a lot of estate agents where not that knowledge of the shared ownership process, and I wanted to deal with the buyers directly. So after many hours of research I found the quicklister website. I got a discount code off a website called propertyinvestmentproject. I must say there is some really valuable information on the blog if you search for it online . For a 3 month listing I think I paid around £260. I compared quick lister to other similar online selling platforms and there's was the cheapest and easiest to use. I found the online platform easy to use and upload images of my property . If I had any questions my emails where answered quickly by the staff at quick lister. The property appears on all the main selling sites rightmove ect . You get messages or calls from potential buyers . You have to do the job of the estate agent so arranging viewings , making sure the buyers has mortgage agreement in principle , ID checks and proof of savings ect which was easy for me. It’s not difficult to know the process . However if your looking for someone else to do all the viewings and admin and communicate with interested parties then you may want the traditional estate agent. I was confident in the process and happy to save myself hundreds of pounds . My first viewing was my buyer, that been said the property was in popular location and very affordable for first time buyers. I did my own photos using an iPhone and choose not to have a sales board . The only things I paid for independently was the EPC( energy performance certificate ).

I found a tenant after just 2 days with Quicklister and was happy with them. Only 4 stars as Quicklister gave out my contact details to applicants so I had some enquiries coming via the online messaging system, others via email, and others direct to my mobile. I would have preferred having all of them in one place on the online system rather than having my phone constantly ringing but it's not a major issue. For enquiries on the online system, Quicklister also displays which portal the applicant has come through which is useful to know.

I highly recommend Quicklister if you are willing and happy to have an active role in the sale of your property. Thanks to Quicklister I was able to advertise my property on Zoopla and Rightmove. Amending the ad through the Quicklister platform was incredibly quick, intuitive and the changes would show up on Zoopla and Rightmove within an hour or less. Receiving and responding to viewings requests was also super easy. I was able to reach Quicklister's support via WhatsApp, where they were very quick to respond and would help/respond to questions instantly. A brilliant company! More people should know about them
