They have not returned our £1000 deposit. We reserved a slot here but were then put off by so many online reviews about Bovis. We cancelled within the 14 day cooling off period and were pressured and called many times to try to change our mind they even tried to say we would only get half back which is illegal. We were eventually told it would back in our account with 5 to 7 working days this has been and gone. Each time I email to ask I get told thay have chased it up. Very quick to take our money and pressure us but so far not got our money back. Shame on you Bovis. I will update if and when we get our money back.

Worst purchase ever made. It was supposed to be dream home instead it's daily nightmare!I have been with them back and forth about the noisy stairs. Today i've had a carpenter around and they said no amount of screws into stair thread and caulk will fix the issue. There are significant construction issues with the stairs and they can repair it properly but cannot guarantee cost will not match the cost of the new staircase! One of the most expensive item in an expensive home!Bovis customer service is useless, they cannot find the email trails and issues raised. I've been in the home for barely 5 years and i cannot say they have resolved any given issue properly once!Front door looked at million times and replaced once - well looks like need another replacing.Dealing with Bovis Homes it's a full time job and you are being conned.

Wow a near miss. Having read all the negative reviews, a company that changed its name and no designated email for complaints. This says it all. We were interested in a plot at the location, but despite several visits, Bovis sold the last six 4 bed plots to a housing association. I pity the people who have bought on the open market.End of accounting year in June for Bovis andwanted to get rid of units. They forgot to take down the sales signs!Having read all the negative reviews - Bovis have actually done other people a favour.Sales staff did not even know this and they were the people site! Clueless say no more . Do not buy from Bovis

GoogleVery disappointed with Bovis customer service my new build home has no drainage the driveway is cracking around the manhole cover the driveway seriously floods. According to them the driveway has been installed within tolerance. In the process of taking them to court as they seem to hide behind there sub contractors who don’t wish to resolve the issue seems I have reports from reputable drive contractors insisting the driveway needs to be replaced. £4K Bovis then email me requesting I contact NHBC ? Bovis/vistry/lea Castle JV. LLP. You are responsible for the poor workmanship and offer a 2 year warranty. The driveway is not within tolerance. See you in the County Courts

One star too many. Empty promises, lies, Lack of respect and contempt of customers lifestyle. Everything is at Bovis convenience and time. they will say anything to get the sale. Then have a free reign to lie, mislead and avoid customers. I am at a total loss how these people sleep at night. Its not rocket science, some of these fixes are minor, but they are arrogant and obstructive.

They are that bad that they have come off social media. There not selling their homes cause their cowboys, the entire company is the shambles, from houses, to gardens to roads, to attitudes, to the shi**iest of customer service their all deffo in sync with their not giving a hoot attitude, reuin your personal propertie I.e cars ect with the diabolical roads they balls up and have to rip up near enough on a daily basis the local council won't even adopt the roads yet as they're in a sorry state, houses are not much better either. Best advice is avoid avoid avoid. These also go by the name of linden homes. countryside homes, and countryside partnership.I've put today's date however this has been ongoing since november 2021 and is still ongoing their utterly vulger.

Please don’t buy Bovis Homes company! They have delayed the sale from July 2024 and can’t give an exchange date now in October 2024. They keep saying the house has several issues and don’t have a date for completion. Horrible company with horrible communication. They just don’t care about the families involved in the chain. Please stay away and don’t buy their houses!!!

We had a extremely good site manager Who was so helpful but they are all controlled by customer services who are awful. Lost track of the times I’ve phoned to be ignored and/or lied to. I have been in talks with Bovis for months now regarding the horrific quality of our kitchen. The doors don’t shut properly, a (heavy) drawer front has come off (falling onto my 2 year old daughters head as it did) and it cannot withstand normal family life. It already needs replacing after 1 year and Bovis are not offering an agreeable solution, instead they’re trying to plaster over the problem until our warranty runs out and are trying to gaslight me by not listening to the actual problems when I explain. I would like this sorted asap as we paid a premium price for our property.

They are the worst builders in the UK. They use very cheap materials for thier new builds. We bought a house within 6months the windows were blown out. We called them to repair it even though there’s a warranty they refused. All home owners on my street have their baths rusted within 3 years of purchasing a new build including mine. They used wrong doors for the whole estate. A real joke. They are horrible!

Sell properties as "freehold", but employ the fleecehold scam where you have what is effectively leasehold but with "ground maintenance" that you don't receive or poor value. The scam has less legal limits than leasehold too, so its run pretty much as an extortion racket. They have a restriction on the deeds, meaning they can demand whatever they want to allow changes or sale of the property.

We purchased a new-build two bedroom Bovis Home for my 80 year old mother-in-law in Witney in June 2020. This new estate with over 1000 homes was due to have local shops, community centre, care home, as well as schools and playgrounds. We purchased her Bovis home just across the road from where these shops were to be built, as she has mobility issues. It’s been over 3 years now and whilst there is a small Primary School and a small playground there are no shops or other amenities as promised by the developer. In fact, the huge area allocated for these units is in the middle of the estate and looks like a derelict wasteland, complete with broken fencing and overgrown rubble. No shops, the roads aren’t finished, there’s been no safe crossings put in, there are dead trees and incomplete landscaping everywhere and there isn’t even a postbox!We purchased this property on this estate with the promise that there would be shops and services. This estate has had people living here for over 5 years and nothing has happened and we are so disappointed. We also own a Bloor home on the same estate. I can accept the excuse of building delays due to Covid, but that finished 3 years ago! It seems like the developer have got their money from us, and then just moved on to the next build. It is a nice house, but living far out of a town on an ugly development with no shops is heartbreaking for us as well as granny who needs the local facilities. Plus, it has devalued the properties as well as making it them harder to sell.

The site has only recently fully been built, but the workers have always been very courteous. I would buy from Bovis again.
