Karen was exceptional. She reached out to us as soon as she was informed of a problem. She chased the issue throughout the process and kept us in the loop throughout! She rang us to talk. She answered emails within a single working day every single time we emailed her and she was positive, informative and personable throughout. We both agreed that if we ever bought or sold a property again, we'd like to have her be in charge of everything and we've told all our friends who are currently on the market about the positive experience. Once again, thank you. What could have been a disaster was averted.

Very disappointed with this agency. I moved into my flat with my young family and there was no hot water in the kitchen. I have been asking for the last 15 months for this to get sorted and all I get is yes they will sort it out. Now they have increased the rent by hundred pounds. Bear in mind there are other issues with damp in the flat which all they do is paint over it (before we moved in) and now say they will come again to paint. This isn’t a solution! You need to source where the problem is and resolve, not cover it up! I would like to know if these agents live without hot water!! Very disappointed with their customer services. In response to your comment You will not have my details as it’s registered on my husbands name!! And also YES your properties DO NOT have hot water! Maybe you should listen to your tenants!!

Unprofessional, totally stuck up. Would never go with this agency again. Don’t care about there property’s when things would go wrong, wouldn’t see it as an emergency, a lot of people have had bad experiences with them. Manager is rude laughs on the phone and speaks to you like she thinks she’s royalty.

We cannot recommend Davies and Way highly enough. They dealt with the sale of our late fathers house on the Wellsway. From the first meeting with David to discuss valuation, viewings and feedback from Olivia helped by Louise, through to completion they were faultless, professional and friendly. Despite a reasonably lengthy chain and with huge thanks to Karen Clarke for her unstinting efforts and skill in holding everything together and pushing through to exchange we have completed in 13 weeks from issue of the memo of sale. They are by far the very best and most professional estate agent in Keynsham by a mile.

I had a viewing with Claire from Davies & Way - for a rental property. Though it wasn’t a match in the end, Claire’s customer service skills were impeccable. Claire was very responsive with returning my call very quickly, sent prompt and clear emails, was highly professional throughout the viewing and was even able to accommodate the fact that I ended up a bit earlier than the scheduled time expected to view the property. Email communication following the viewing was very quick also. Based on this, I’d recommend Davies and Way when considering a rental.

We viewed and offered on a property through Davies & Way. Karen showed us the property and was absolutely brilliant. We were honest that our budget meant if we were to offer it would be lower, she encouraged us to try and see what happened. After we made an offer on a Thursday, a separate gentleman called me on Monday to explain he deals with the seller and they had immediately rejected our offer (thanks for waiting to tell us!) and that what we offered was 'too far'. I explained that we couldn't afford to offer the asking price and for fear of wasting anyone's time asked if there was any room for negotiation, to be told in an awful patronising way that "this isn't the way it works". I asked for the offer to be left on the table and said I'd be happy to be contacted further about negotiations. The next day received an email confirming the offer was refused followed up by a written letter in the post a week later to tell us it was refused, which seemed very over the top to me! From looking online it would appear there was room for negotiation - it seems to have sold under asking offer, £4k above what we offered. As a FTB I admit I approached this process as a novice, but the manner in which I was spoken to was rude and unprofessional. I wonder if the same tone of voice would have been applied to a conversation with a male. As someone else has said in a previous review, the reviews seem overwhelmingly positive so I chalk it down to a bad experience, however I personally will not look to use Davies & Way to sell the property we've subsequently purchased elsewhere.
