Already left a review titled horrific a month back. I chased repairs again this morning. They waited until 1729 and sent a email with a fake business qoute for 900 pound and tried to blame me for repairs. Truth is if they fixed bathroom wen reported in 2017 the issues would not have hapoened. They waited til they went home to send email so i couldnt discuss. Awful awful company.

We were recommended to lady called Jenny Turner at the wolverhampton branch of Connells for mortgage advice, by a friend of ours. We can honestly say this woman is an expert in her field. Within 2 weeks of our meeting we had a morgage offer and a week later our keys to our new home. The process was completely seamless and only having two 1hr appointments. She made sure we came fully prepared to each meeting, to make the process simple and smooth. We just cannot get over how straight forward she made it. Having been through this process before, with weeks of waiting and endless paperwork being posted backwards and forwards, this was a breath of fresh air. This lady is an absolute expert in her field and knowledge of the industry is second to none. She is an absolute asset to Connells. And we will most Deffinatley be going back to her when our two year rate is up. I will most Deffinatley recommending Jenny Turner to my friends. Thank you Jenny xxx

The agents in Westbrom are bullish and racists. The agents are conniving with landlords to confiscate your deposit. Aarif threatened my wife when we terminated our rent contract in B20. Connells West Brom is still holding my £1600 deposit.

We brought our house in 2014 and after 2 years and a complete refurbishment and have spent £45k+ we put our house back on the market with Connells, ( BIG MISTAKE ) we were advised to go out and look for something else as was told ours wouldn't be on the market long, we found another property.After 6 weeks will no viewings at all my mother rang the branch as a mystery shopper just so I could have some feedback, to my horror within the first 30 seconds of the phone call it was all negatives she was told it was a mid terrace it's a semi, it's an ex local authority it's very isolated and has a restriction.After this we have since put in a complaint and have gone through the correct procedure of a 15 day return with no result, we have asked to speak to the area manager Paul Edginton with no reply and today have asked to speak to the regional manager Stephen Shipley again with no reply, my husband spoke to Patricia Judge who then began to bully and laugh at my husband on the phone today with again very unprofessional we are now on week 11 and to date we still have had no viewings.

Connels was asked to value my home after two other valuations VALUED IT AS 6 BEDROOMS. Rics surveyor attended from Connells and de valued it and said two of my bedrooms where not bedroom even tho it was sold as a 6 bed and used as a HMO?DO NOT USE!!!!!

In under a week Marie had delivered a highly professional marketing package, had numerous buyers view our property, and had it sold at the asking price. You gave us sound advice throughout and even a bit of emotional support when needed! That is outstanding. GoogleSold our house through connells, the solicitors were next to useless but thanks to pretty much daily phoencalls/ emails with Craig& him chasing/ phoning everyone on our behalf. It all went perfectly in the end. Craig was with us start to finish and honestly if he hadn't have been we probably wouldn't have moved, nor sold our house. Why is it that agents just dont hear what you tell them, went into Connells in Dorchester looking for a property to "do up" as a property developer and advised they had just the property ...... a semi detached house a developer had recently completed, explained we were looking for something before it was refurbished (three times) and had to bluntly say NO to the property, none others to look at - what the agent did not know it we are just about to sell two flats we have completed - they will not be getting the instructions. Guy was pleasant and polite but please open those ears !

I purchased a house via Connells in 2023, and it was not an experience I want to repeat. I was forced into visiting their in house mortgage advisor and told I would get a better chance of purchasing the house I was interested in if I used them.

As first time buyers the estate agents were terrible. We had a mortgage in principle yet they still insisted we could not proceed until we spoke to their mortgage advisor. They took a week to get us ‘qualified’ to put in an offer and because of this we lost out on our house. There was a lack of communication and lack of explanations and all round rude service. Would not recommend one bit

GoogleGreat all round customer experience, from enquiry all the way through to sale completion from Philip and his team in Kettering. They worked hard to get me the price I wanted for my house and made sure the process was as smooth and painless as possible. I highly recommend and will definitely be using them again in the future.

Tried to book a viewing with Connells and heard nothing back for a week (although they say replies expected within 48hrs). Called up directly and instead booked the viewing over the phone. They then proceeded to add the wrong information for me which I only noticed when I had no confirmation. Called back again, changed the information but in doing so lost me the viewing slot that had to be rebooked to a different date but whilst waiting for the new date the house had multiple viewings and sold quickly.I asked to be contacted on any relevant properties which were listed to which I was refused as I hadn't booked in to meet with their mortgage department. What a scam! I then tried to book a second viewing on a different property which, once again, nobody replied to me. It has since been 3 months with no reply and luckily for me I've now purchased a property with another estate agent. If you're thinking of selling with Connells i'd avoid like the plague because they have no drive to even try to do their jobs.

The worst agent I’ve ever dealt with before. They absolutely stand on the landlord’s side and never consider the tenant’s side. They’ve helped the ridiculous and unreasonable landlord to claim all our deposits. Our landlord and neighbours spied on us and slandered us. Our landlord being so unreasonable claiming us for redecoration that they should really spend to redecorate before renting to another tenant. They’ve avoided this cost by claiming all our deposits. Actually they didn’t even decorate/refurnished the house before renting to us. They didn’t even clean up the property before renting to us. Then they would claim us on cleaning and redecorating the property. The agency believes the landlord their client. Never consider and care about us.

There are hundreds of other similar reviews.Why is nothing being done about this company! All google reviews and trust pilot are 1 star! They should be disgusted by themselves!! Mutley plain branch! They made my life hell! I tried buying a house through them they lied to the seller and to me and even lied to my lawyer about taking a house I clearly said I'm not interested! Sam the manager is very unprofessional! DO NOT BUY A HOUSE OR SELL ONE THROUGH MUTLEY PLAIN YOU WILL DEA WITH SAM AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL! AND HE WILL LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU BUYING OR SELLING YO GET YOUR MONEY!

The very worst Estate agents by far! I reported a maintenance issue and was told to watch a YouTube video to resolve it. The tenancy ended in May 24 and they wanted to claim from my deposit. I raised a dispute and they charged their minds. I am still waiting for my deposit 6weeks after the tenancy ended. They have no sense of urgency (not to tenants in my opinion) and will frustrate the hell out of you. Very poor customer service and they don't care about you. Don't be fooled by the brand name. Avoid doing business with them if you want peace of mind.

Trying to sell my mums house , I live abroad so I have to rely on phone calls and emails (A) little or no communication so I have no idea of what’s going on (B) cut off on a phone call half way through speaking because the rep obviously didn’t think what I had to say was important (C) flim flam & nonsense every time I call(D) they say they will send a email by the end of the day … this never happens(E) agent says he will send a mail by the end of the day … then goes on vacation and I’m left hangingI shall have to see this through , I have zero choice , but I wish I’d read these reviews first.Sheisters
