Where do I even begin! I’ve been dealing with Challenger Burgess for over two years as we tried to sell our house and find the perfect home for my family. It hasn’t been the most straightforward journey but I just couldn’t be more grateful for the time and care Paula, Georgie and team have put into us. They look after their clients so well and really do go above and beyond. If you are looking to buy or sell in or around the Portishead area then I would go straight to them. The whole process with Challenger Burgess felt really personalised and it felt like the team wanted this move as much as we did. Sam was great at the start, really understanding what our needs for a new home were and sending over only recommendations that fit that criteria. He was lovely on the viewings, honest without being pushy at all! Elia was fantastic at supporting us through the rest of the process, offering advice and updating us very regularly. We also needed Paula and Georgie to step in for extra support and to offer their words of wisdom, and to help with solicitors, to keep us calm and hold my hand through the stressful times. I think I spoke with the team more than my partner during this process, and I’m sure we all shed tears when it finally went through! I couldn’t recommend Challenger Burgess any more, I would definitely look to go with them if we ever move again (which we won’t, because they really helped us find our perfect forever home!)

Georgie and Paula have been absolutely amazing. They found us a buyer before we went on Rightmove and also had two properties that we loved that had just come on the market to chose from. There are plenty of estate agents to choose from, so deciding which one you go with can feel like a bit of a gamble. Cost plays a part, but selling your house is very stressful so it's important to go with an agent where they remain committed to helping push it through, once the house has sstc. I had a really good feel about Paula and Georgie when they came to the house and provided a valuation and am so glad we picked them, they were fantastic. They set up a family whatsapp so communications went to everyone involved. As with lots of house sales, we hit a snag which was quite stressful and I honestly felt like Paula and Georgie were like a dog with a bone and they did everything they could to resolve the issues, which they did. We used the solicitor they recommended and she was also amazing. I would recommend to everyone who is thinking of selling to use Challenger Burgess, you won't regret it! I've read many reviews with people saying all three members of the team were "amazing". I have noticed people using terms "going the extra mile", "above and beyond", "experts in their field". What can I say? It's all true. But, what noone has talked about is the magic. Paula told me when we first met that she would help us find our forever ever house. It seemed more likely we would find a unicorn to be honest! Not least as we ourselves didn't know what we were looking for. But, we got there in the end and it couldn't be more perfect for us. Paula made house viewings with a little child extremely fun and our daughter still talks about some of those viewings now. Above and Beyond! That is the best phrase I can use describe our experience with Challenger Burgess. It is important to stress that Challenger Burgess were not even our estate agents, they acted on behalf of the property we were buying. This did not matter to them and we felt like we were being treated like we were their own client. From the moment we viewed to the property to the moment we completed the service provided was first rate. They were incredibly professional, proactive and communicative. We heard more from Challenger Burgess than we did our own estate agents. They communicated info to us before anyone else, including our solicitor. Any issues that arose Challenger Burgess were on top of them and would chase with vigour to find answers and provide solutions. In fact it got to the stage we would message Challenger Burgess ahead of our own estate agents, as we knew they were more likely to find the answers we needed. We worked initially with Paula and Elia. I can’t speak highly enough about the two of them. All emails were answered swiftly and they were always on the end of the phone when needed. They were incredibly professional, supportive and simply fantastic at their jobs. We would recommended them to anyone. Thank you for all your help.
