Sardar Berzo is an absolutely fantastic member of the John D Wood team - lightning fast, friendly, professional, proactive, diligent, helpful, kind and considerate. An absolute pleasure to work with and super helpful in tough circumstances. I moved into a flat which hadn’t been cleaned or painted properly and he was on the phone within minutes making arrangements and followed up throughout till the job was done. Similar service and diligence for all follow up items. He really cares and it’s really apparent. An absolute standout.

Professional, efficient resourceful and caring, Sardar Berzo. The best Property Manager I've met! Have been a tenant of JDW for over 5 years now, the others were good but he is definately the best. When the front doors both stuck one Friday, He had the man there Saturday morning to deal with the problem. when a plumber left me without a boiler one Friday afternoon too late to get the part for the repair, one came on the Saturday to finish the job! I have been renting my property through John D Wood South Kensington branch for the past 5 years. I live in the Middle East so it not easy to remote manage my property. After some initial teething pains, JDW placed Sarder Berzo on my account and what a blessing he has been . Sardar is dedicated , hard working and really treats his clients as clients ! The commitment and dedication is first rate . It’s a treat and am so pleased with JDWood ever since Sardar Berzo took over my account . Much kudos and he deserves a raise or something.

This is a review for Sardar Berzo. I cannot speak highly enough of Sardar. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, cares and get things done. Yesterday we had a problem with our boiler, Sardar had it sorted and an engineer with us in less than 24 hours. He goes the extra mile to get the problem resolved, and will call to find out if everything is all right with us and the property. Sardar is a gentleman, so kind, caring and respectful. He is so enthusiastic about his work and doing the absolute best for his clients. It is a pleasure to contact Sardar with any issues related to the property, knowing that he will genuinely do his best to sort it out. Since moving to this property three years ago, managed by estate agents John D Wood, we have had 4 different property managers. The first three were absolutely disastrous, incompetent, inattentive, and had definitely not got our interests at heart; they didn't care. In one case we waited 7 months to have a leaking shower repaired, and in another case we waited 6 weeks to have the oven repaired. The landlord told us he had decided to leave JD Wood estate agents because of the dreadful service. It was Sardar who changed his mind. The landlord was very impressed with his professionalism, competency to manage the property, and the service he gave. Thank you Sardar for being there for us.

Incredibly disappointed by the agent Toby who misguided me to securing a 2 year tenancy for a flat nearby that's in a terrible state. The property management team do not respond to you and take months to replace a faulty appliance. I was told the flat will be cleaned, refreshed with new carpets and furniture. As soon as I signed the contract, I was left with a place that falls well below a normal living standard, despite paying really high rent. It's almost 1 year and I've had to live with faulty lamps, wobbling chairs, broken blinds, doors, kitchen appliances and unhygienic carpets. The worst part of my experience was moving in and having to clean all the rut, dirt which must have been built up for years, and hoarded items left behind from previous tenants. Worst experience in the past 15 years living in London.

While finding the right apartment and signing a lease was a breeze (hence, two starts instead of one), once we moved in, everything went sideways. The property managers were unresponsive to both simple and complex repairs. In one case, their lack of engagement led to mold growth, eventually requiring ripping out carpet and redoing molding despite multiple escalations on our part to address leaks. What was particularly infuriating, however, either incompetence or maliciousness (or both) on their part in returning our deposit after we left. Even after aligning on amount required, it took over three months to receive our funds back. It required over 15 emails to their offices, repeated calls, threats of escalating to the housing office, and finally escalating to John D. Wood head office. Avoid working with Adamya at all cost. And if you have to, avoid giving benefit of the doubt; just save yourself the heartburn and escalate at the outset. Buyer beware - you may have no choice but to work with this team, but at minimum, know your rights and who to escalate to when they invariably try to avoid doing their jobs.

The service offered by the Property Management team is shocking. Myself and a friend rented a two bedroom property from John D Wood. We have now been in the property for over 4 months and are yet to be provided with 2 sets of functioning keys. Despite the gravity of the issue, John D Wood have not been proactive in trying to find a solution for this. The Property Management staff are unprofessional, rude and generally incompetent, especially Alessandro Lucatello and Adam Michael. John D Wood and the respective Landlord consistently denied any responsibility for the situation making it difficult, time consuming and stressful to resolve. If you do decide to rent with John D Wood, make sure you have a break clause included in your contract. Having said that, Katherine Garces is excellent, very responsive and was a real pleasure to engage with. I would not want my negative review of the Property Management team to reflect poorly on her!
