I'm an overseas landlord and hired Chestertons to manage my flat. From charging me £90 to literally change a lightbulb to taking several months to fix a crucial structural problem in the house, these people have been incompetent from day one. They take forever to respond, have no clear 'chain of command, and they overcharge for absolutely everything. Scammers. Do not recommend!

Lost trust and confidence. Our house was empty and only people who had access were the agents. They left the property unsecure for days, letting water in and as a result damaged our property. They also come in and out of the property to use our toilet and leave it in a dirty state.

Googleincredibly impressive service, communication and offer handling from Jessica whilst on a rental search. She took the time to understand our niche requirements and with nothing else presented us with the most incredible options - unfortunately in this case we ended up finding something else but it wouldn't have been the case if it wasn't for the help of Jessica in the first instance - highly highly recommend, a big rarity to find such exacting service in such a saturated market.

I had a very positive experience with Chesterton. The agent showing the flat was polite and responsive and the agent managing my flat is very kind as well and very quick in responding to my emails and addressing any issues raised. They complete regular checks on the flat conditions (fire alarms, elettrical, gas, etc.) which is also great as it ensures the flat is in good conditions.
