I am the tenant of a property managed by this agent and have been so for the past 6 years. They have always been very professional and efficient as opposed to what I hear from other tenants having to deal with other agents. We were supposed to buy a house and our seller pulled out on the day we were supposed to exchange contracts. Have used Peter and his team for 2 house moves. First time was our first purchase, the whole team were very informative and advised to what needed to be done and when. Very disappointing, viewed a beautiful, house, that was in need of a great deal of work, the pictured did not show the damp, or level of work required, which was fine, we still loved it property had been up for sale for a higher price but had been reduced we were told to get a quick sale. We were told our first two offers weren't enough so made a final offer which was much higher and said it was our best and we only had a couple of days as we didn't want to lose another property if this fell through. Yesterday Jamie assured us he would get a response and get back to us for definite by the end of today but we heard nothing. After waiting most of the day I called to be told he was on holiday and no-one seemed to know anything about our situation so clearly no-one was discussing our offer with the vender. I was then called back and I said I had to withdraw the offer and was just told that was fine, no questions, I have no clue if the offer was ever put forward to the vender. I would be really disappointed if viewers of our property were messed around like this. I understand the vender may not have been contactable or wanted to hold out to see if there were any higher offers but we could at least have been told this, we were just left completely in the dark.

Bailey & Co. were fantastic when it came to helping me find a new flat in Jesmond. Being relatively new to Newcastle meant that I didn't have much knowledge on Jesmond, Gosforth and the surrounding areas. The process only took just over a week, and the flat that I ended up choosing was actually one that Lauren recommended to me rather than one I discovered for myself (It was definitely the right choice!). Couldn't be happier with the property and the overall service in general - friendly, affordable and quick. Thanks to the whole team at Bailey & Co. but especially Lauren and James - you really helped me out when I was near enough clueless to the area. I can't fault them at all. They were one of two estate agents recommended to me and when I asked for details they responded quickest. There website and pictures looked better than their competitors and their pricing was extremely competitive. I was out of the country due to Covid and they handled all viewings and provided access to surveyors etc. Best of all though was the personal service - they kept me informed at all stages, explained a number of issues I was having with the solicitors and helped smooth the way with the buyer when the process was stalling with the solicitors.
