I used winkworth borehamwood...the sale price confirmation was spot on..however i was taken aback with the recommendations and i quote .." I would say to move items in2 your loft but it would b a hassle"..despite my walls throughout my flat are painted magnolia and are in pristine condition...it was recommended that i whitewash the entire flat...finally my flat is cluttered and i appreciate that i need to declutter prior to selling the property...despite this obvious fact the sales negotiator seemed continually irritated and indifferent when i mentioned retiling the kitchen. My personal expectation was that he make reasonable and professional recommendations....in conclusion i found him slightly patronising and not someone who was able to see the broader picture...I also felt he did not know the block of flats at all.

Bournemouth branch , avoid , no customer service Advertised a property that wasn’t available, then tried to tell me a three bed property was no big enough for a couple and 2 children ? When I call them they say the property is not available Awful service do not trust your property with these people

Dear Mr Attwater. We are always disappointed to receive feedback such as yours and therefore the matter has been looked into. It appears that you enquired about the property 4 days after it came to the market however the office responded to your enquiry within 10 minutes of receiving it on Saturday morning at 8.29am. The team asked for more information from you regarding your personal requirements which was accommodation for 4 adults but unfortunately someone in the interim put in an application and offer for the property, and the team had to inform you that the property was not suitable for 4 adults. As you are aware, rental property can be in short supply and therefore demand can be equally very high; as it was in the case of this property. I am sorry that you were not successful on this occasion however it appears that the office acted appropriately given the high demand for the property in such a short timescale.

GoogleWe purchased a flat in Dalston through Winkworths in December. The agent for our seller was Sean Ward, who was responsive, efficient and really pleasant to deal with throughout the process. He also arranged for another member of staff to stay late so we could pick up the keys on the night of completion, which we really appreciated!

As a first time buyer, and having been previously let down by another Estate Agents, I was very apprehensive about buying. However, once I met Thomas, this anxiety completely disappeared. He was extremely helpful, understanding, professional, knowledgeable on the local area, a great communicator and gave me great advice. Nothing was ever too big or small for Thomas and he always got back to me with the questions I had asked and explained everything in layman's terms - with a lot of patience for my questions too! Winkworth Bow - avoid at all costs. Please look at the Google reviews before you work with this branch. Why the management of Winkworth don't see an issue with this is beyond me. We are currently in the process of raising with the Property Ombudsman and would avoid at all costs.
