The entire experience was very good. However I cannot give full 5 stars because I had clearly stated in my offer that I required professional cleaning of the property I rented before my entry and this was obviously not done. Winkworth offered a top up cleaning which is why I remove only one star. Still this caused some stress and delays to me. For 5 stars I would have wanted everything to be done perfectly from the start. Overall I think they are good agents.

Winkworth - Hellesdon Norwich,Me and my partner viewed several properties across norwich and being first time buyers couldn’t ask for more from an estate agents. Neil was always on the phone checking in and showing us around not only our purchased property but many we viewed before and can not fault him. Max and hannah also played a major part with the behind the scenes stuff and max chasing many questions so promptly for us calling back normally the same day. Hannah Nola - Terrible, Unprofessional, Cant Do The Job! Had an appointment for 1pm today, 05/08/23. That I arranged with Hannah Nola, who might I had forgot to actually arrange the appointment which meant me calling up this morning to ensure I can still view the property at 1pm, which I was told I now had the confirmed booking timeWhen we arrived to the property, there was a queue out the door. When I asked the gentleman now allowing another group in during our booked time he said "you'll need to go to the office and speak to Hannah", who might I add was nowhere to be seen during the confirmed appointment time We went over to the office and knocked on the door, only to be met with a rude woman putting her finger up and telling us to wait. Turns out, this was the illusive Hannah; dealing with something else other than the appointment she arranged, forcing us to stand in the rainAfter waiting a period of time me and my partner decided it wasn't worth dealing with such an unprofessional organisation so we walked away When I complained; Hannah had the audacity to lie and at first attempt to say "she isn't sure what I mean, the viewing arranged today were not only for me", which doesn't explain why she wasn't there, and why we were forced to stand in the rain When I made my complaint clear, that we had an agreed time and I expected her to keep the appointment and at least be present, she attempted to blame the other visitors who were there to view the property saying it was because "they were late", however unaware to Hannah; we spoke to them and they had an appointment for 1pm as well Absolutely terrible management and process, poor attitude and frankly the attempt to lie and deflect is all the writing on the wall anyone needs AVOID AVOID AVOID
Dear Miles, please see below a response from the office:Whilst Hannah did book in the appointment it was another member of staff who was attending the viewing and was whom the applicant met at the property. There seems to have been some miscommunication between the applicant viewing and the agent conducting the viewing as the agent thought the viewer was asking for Hannah whereas the viewer was asking for Hannah in expectation that she would be conducting the viewing. Hannah wanted to assist the applicant when he came to the office door but was dealing with an urgent matter on the phone so couldn’t just leave the call and when the call was done, she went to the door at which point the applicant had left. Hannah sincerely apologies for the inconvenience caused and accepts that she could’ve made the applicant aware that other people were also viewing the property during the viewing slot although only one group/ person would’ve been viewing the actual flat at a time to ensure each person can view the flat comfortably without feeling pressured/ rushed. We understand the applicant feels aggrieved and would be happy to arrange a viewing of the property for the applicant to view the property alone without any other parties booked in at a similar time. & once again apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Aaron and Andrew and the whole team at Winkworth were/are a pleasure to work with both as a property buyer, and then as an owner. Having worked with a number of Estate Agents I am familar that it's hard for a purchaser to find and trust the agent you are dealing with, but in Winkworth's case - they were straightforward, transparent, understood the key issues, kept to what they said, and worked to ensure a smooth and successful process for everyone. I called the Dartmouth Winkworth branch to ask about a property we are interested in. We’re cash buyers. I was polite and had some very normal (basic) questions about the property before booking a visit as we don’t live near - my husband and I are experienced in this area. I didn’t mind so much that he wasn’t much help, but I do object to his aggressive and condescending manner. He objected to questions about how long the property had been on the market and how much interest there had been, giving me dismissive, unhelpful responses. He asked if I had “ever actually bought a property before” and if I knew “anything at all” about the market. Every reasonable question I asked about the property was turned by him into a personal attack on me to suggest that I didn’t know what I was doing! I wondered if he was a complete misogynist and could hardly believe the conversation I was having. He told me to put my questions in an email and said that he had never had a conversation like that one before! Then he hung up. I suppose he might be new to being an estate agent, although he didn’t sound like that was the case - regardless, that’s no excuse! I’ve had plenty of business dealing with estate agents and asking questions and I’ve never encountered anyone so rude and patronising. If I were the person paying Winkworths to sell that property I would be very displeased.

Very happy w Winkworth! We had trouble selling our lovely Victorian house in a sellers' market and were stumped as to why. We were on the market during the stamp duty holiday for five and a half months with over 30 viewing and no offers, with no help from the previous agent as to why. Winkworth arrived, got the right buyers through the door, and had us under offer at an asking price we were happy with in just over a month. That's some serious magic there!Alex and Aidan were very helpful throughout the selling process and made sure communications kept flowing despite delays down the chain. I never thought purchasing my first property would be so stressful. It wasn't the process, it wasn't Winkworth, it was the vendor. They were so unhelpful, unresponsive and such a massive headache throughout the entire process, that I considered pulling out. However, Aidan was an absolute saint from start to finish. He professionally dealt with me and the vendor and kept everything on track as much as he could, even going above and beyond of what I'd expect an estate agent to do (late night updates, chasing all hours of the day, etc). I am so grateful to Aidan and his team for all the work they've put into this and I can't thank you all enough. I'll 100% be using this branch again.

After initially receiving excellent service from Winkworth the second step in my rental process was overseen by Aoife Quail. There was transparency, communication and professional assistance throughout the process. This process wasn't an easy one, but for someone immigrating to the UK the service can only be described as WORLD CLASS.

As a buyer of a property represented by a Winkworth agent (Helga), the experience wasn't great. To her credit, Helga was quick to jump on the phone to speak. However, she also seemed to be a step behind the rest of the parties involved (sellers, buyers, and the two parties' respective solicitors), often needing us to update her on the latest with the process, rather than her liaising with the sellers or the solicitors directly and being a step ahead. Predictably, this caused massive stress and almost cost us the house in the last stages of the purchasing process. Worst of all, when asked to confirm things on the sellers' behalf, it seemed almost like she just said yes without actually checking with them, and then had to renege on her 'confirmation' days later. It's unclear whether this was a strategy to get the seller into a more favorable position (understandable, as the seller is her client), or general lack of communication on her part, but it certainly came off as unprofessional and made for a less pleasant buying experience than it could have been.

We have just sold and bought through the Kensal Rise office. Overall we had a great experience, we were trying to complete before the stamp duty relief, which became quite tight, however Gurdeep couldn't have worked harder on our behalf to get things done on time. He went above and beyond and was very nice to deal with... Having used a few estate aagents in the past, Gurdeep has been by far the best. Along with Stuart being very helpful through the process.

Excellent Lettings agency. From start to finish. Great customer service: easy to access and professional staff. Aaron as head of Lettings in Kensal Rise is extremely dynamic. He engages with the landlord from the start of the Lettings process to the end. He ensures the property is in a good condition and is ready for rent; he gives help and advice on how to improve things.
