I used Stirling Ackroyd Canary Wharf office, their staff were very professional in particular Jacqueline B (Move In Manager) was understanding of my circumstances as a first time renter. She kept me informed of the process and comms with the landlord. I particularly liked the online portal; everything is in one place. It was easy for my manager to complete the work references online.

GoogleSeveral people were involved from the viewing to the completion, but we were well covered and handled smoothly while someone was on a holiday. All of them were very helpful and keep their eyes on the progress. Seth Branum in particular looked after us very well . It was a difficult situation as the seller was overseas and the deadline for completion was short due to a stamp duty holiday. He worked hard for both parties and was able to meet the deadline. In addition to this, he helped us a great deal to meet the requirements of both parties, which turned out to be excellent. We really appreciate all his hard work and all people who were involved this purchase.

GoogleI have received the most professional and responsive service from Rafael Zampieri of Stirling Ackroyd. I would highly recommend renting a flat through Stirling Ackroyd Estate Agents. Right after my enquiries on a property listed on Rightmove, he contacted me promptly and sent me walkthrough videos of the properties available. He has been very patient to wait for my reply. And when I asked for viewing, we were able to arrange one immediately on the same day. Any questions I asked, he was able to pass it onto the landlord and the current tenant immediately. His efficiency and superb communication skills helped me successfully fill in an offer that the landlord agreed on the same day. This is the most efficient and stress-free renting process that I have ever experienced!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

My agent Carl Griffiths has been majorly helpful in helping rent my first flat. Was punctual at the viewing and was efficient in explaining the next steps to accquiring a tenancy. He was also extremely helpful with handling the slight change in requirements and delivering on this. The whole process was handled smoothly with timely responses. Was a very pleasant experience compared to many other estate agents that I’ve dealt with prior to Stirling Ackroyd.

FacebookPlease... do not put yourself at risk by using these people. They had no idea about the property condition until 5days before moving in date, despite indicating otherwise The "virtual viewing" video they sent to me, was not filmed by them and did not represent the issues with the property They "arranged" an in-person viewing a week in advance... well a week in advance with me, they apparently didn't call the tenant until that day and he understandably blew them off. They wanted me to drop 6months upfront rent because I wasn't moving out of my current property before moving into theirs... something I am very grateful for now. When they finally checked the property, they said it was uninhabitable, that issues had been outstanding for months but they would be sure to "raise the issues with the landlord"...

Quick follow up The likes of sites like Rightmove have made many of us focus on the properties we like and ignore the quality of the agencies promoting them. Don't be me folks! Check potential agency ratings, do your research and you will safeguard yourself against the issues I detailed above. . Just completed my own move (this time with a trusted agency as far removed from Sterling as possible) and all went well.

We chose Stirling because they seemed competitively priced, about 2% cheaper than other agents, but it was a big mistake. They collected rent in advance, only passed on about 55% to us. They even took commission upfront for rent not yet invoiced.

Ashley-Jane Francis is amazing, she understood my requirements for my property and did everything she could to meet my requirements. Ashley was responsive and a great communicator, she was pro-active and has excellent resolution skills. Selling a house can be quite stressful, but Ashley and Stirling Ackroyd made it as stress-free as possible.

I went on a viewing with Carl to see Kingsland Green & he was the most charasmatic estate agent I’ve come across. He was so helpful, punctual & charming that it made my property search a lot more relaxing as this can be a stressful time.
