Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward Clerkenwell Sales reviews in Islington

I give Amanda my highest recommendation. She is a pleasure to work with: she established a great rapport with me immediately, it was clear that she had done her homework on me and on the properties we looked at, she followed up on all questions and issues with impressive alacrity, and she uses each interaction to understand more about exactly what I'm looking for. Although we haven't landed my "unicorn" flat yet, she has a drive and determination to do so that truly makes me believe that if it's out there, she will find it. IMHO, she is a star in the making and I feel very lucky having her on my team!

I had the pleasure of working with Amanda during my flat search. She was incredibly professional, friendly and always punctual. Amanda showed great knowledge of the flat and was incredibly quick to answer all of my questions during the viewing. Follow the viewing she was very easy to contact and was very helpful during the tenancy signing process and was always quick to respond to emails. 10/10 for professionalism and 10/10 for customer service, very impressed.

We are moving from Brazil, and Sonny, from KFH was a great mate to help us to dicide about a property that transforms this transition on a easy way. He also presented us with the neighbourhood. Actually, it is nice to see that KFH does more than business. They are doing friends..

Difficult to review when you're the buyer - you're not really the customer and certainly not paying the bill. However, everyone else dealt with was friendly, helpful and courteous. And they definitely stayed on top of the process, ensuring everything kept ticking along and politely nudging us when we were the ones being useless!Would definitely consider them when we come to sell.

Professional and efficient

Professional service in terms of attitude, organisation and available products (mortgage advisors, life insurance etc.). They have a good range of clients and knowledgeable and approchable sales negotiators etc. Full confidence in the property I was selling and this was done within a couple of weeks or so of being on the market. A very positive and smooth process from my experience.

Moving into my new flat was hellish to say the least. This was due to the gross mismanagement and level of disorganisation at this office. KFH kept stalling and would not allow me to access my flat, as a result I was forced to sit on the pavement of my new flat for over two hours. I have yet to receive even a smidge of an apology from them, and it's been almost a week. Their inability to get involved and take accountability is appalling, and evidence of the complete disregard they have for their clients. I would score them zero stars if I could. Would not recommend.

Nov 2019. Beginning of Nov, I have been in contact with several agencies to find a flat in the Clerkenwell area. Amanda has perfectly understood my search criteria and has proposed me relevant flats to visit. No lost time. When a new flat came on the market, she called me immediately. I have been among the first to visit and that is the flat I am in now, less than 3 weeks after I started my search. It has been a pleasure to have Amanda helping me in the search, plus she found me my sweet home. Et voila!

My experience with KFH was amazing, particularly thanks to Mr. Christopher Hulme. He was highly professional and extremely helpful in my search for a new apartment. Not only did he pay particular attention to my criteria and prepared a great selection of apartments to view, everything was also conducted in a time efficient and highly effective manner thanks to his knowledge of the properties. He was very kind, informative and provided an excellent service, I would definitely recommend working with him to anyone looking to rent through KFH.

The lettings team at KFH Clerkenwell have been superb from start to finish! From the honest and transparent advice from the lettings Manager, Fergus, the speed of Amanda who found the perfect tenant and the efficiency of Georgina in sending out all of the paperwork. They found me a great tenant within a couple of days who has now moved in. I would not hesitate to recommend them, they were always available for any questions I had and always gave me great advice!

Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward [KFH] kept to the initial appointment to view the property as arranged. Within a short period, they arranged appointments for several prospective tenants. They found a suitable tenant within 14 days of instructing them.

The worst property maintenance company

Very poor service! I've been with them for more than 4 years and can't even remind a case solved on time and at the first try... This business is out of their capacity. Constant change of managers, any of them more and more incompetent and obviously overloaded.. STAY WELL AWAY IF YOU CAN!

extremely slow and unresponsive customer service for block management. We've had a hot water issue for weeks that no one has got back to us about. The last time the same issue happened it also took weeks to resolve because they said it wasn’t their responsibility (it was)

We had a great experience with the KFH at the Clerkenwell Office, particularly with Jennifer. They listened intently to our needs and found us a perfect house in the neighborhood. Can’t recommend them enough.

Maira has gone above and beyond her role to deliver excellent service, communication and support to all. Thank you both for everything!

Being a landlord

Suitable tenants have always been found quickly. The tenancy agreements have been arranged quickly and our very through. When there has been a change in tenant that has been sorted easily. The tenants are happy with all arrangements. There are of course fees to pay but you get what you pay for . Bad tenants could be more costly.
