New X Foxtons is appalling

New Cross Gate letting office is appalling. I had a misfortune to invite them a few years back for valuation and then when changed my mind, asked them to delete me from their database as wasn't planning to do anything with my house. And guess what every year I am receiving unsolicited calls inquiring about valuation, letting, selling. They promise to delete my number every time they call once every half a year in average, pathetic.

They take the money & abandon…

They take the money and then abandon their landlords. Do not rent a property with these agents as there is no customer support or response. I have had a couple of issues and queries - I have had to ring several times with long wait times and email multiple times for a response, still waiting three weeks later. They never reply or respond costing me hours of wasted time and stress.

Our experience with Foxtons has been appalling. We dealt with Oram Ohene-Djen, our letting negotiator, who from the very beginning was unhelpful, dismissive, and often gaslighting us whenever we raised concerns. Instead of supporting us, he downplayed delays, avoided giving clear answers, and left us constantly uncertain.

Terrible experience

Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

Three words - don’t do it

We listed our house with foxtons and the service has been abysmal. There’s been next to no effort or movement with trying to sell the house, no communications with any options etc. You get an account online which shows upcoming viewings - almost all viewings ‘booked’ haven’t actually happened and they don’t contact us to confirm it either. You expect a lot from an estate agent with their level of commission - dont bother.

My husband and I were searching for a flat in Clerkenwell over the summer. We saw a few properties on Zoopla that were being sold by Foxtons and we reached out. They responded in good time and Stephanos was great in arranging viewings that worked around our schedule. Once we found the flat we wanted it was a bit of a rollercoaster. Greg stepped in to take us through the purchasing. I really found this to be one of the most stressful periods in my life due to also selling our flat. Greg and his team were there to talk us through the process and help with communication between all the various parties. They were super helpful and even helped us to arrange storage of our stuff as our completion dates did not line up. I would like to say a big thank you to Stephanos and Greg and the whole Foxtons team at the Clerkenwell office for being so professional and helpful throughout.
