I’ve worked with several estate agents while searching for a flat, but Sohail has truly stood out as the best. From the very first interaction, the experience of buying with him has been a breath of fresh air. After being gazumped in a previous deal, Sohail consistently checked in on how I was feeling, ensuring I was comfortable and informed at every stage. As a first-time buyer, this level of care made a world of difference. He has been incredibly responsive and worked seamlessly with my solicitor and surveyor. I couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent to guide me through my first property purchase.

Let down by poor communication within the company

Unfortunately we were let down by this letting agent yesterday. We had a 6pm viewing for a house in Hayes, I drove 1h in rush hour traffic to visit the property and on arriving I was met by the agent who informed me that the locks had been changed that day and his key did not work, so we could not access the property.He was very apologetic and I understand he was also frustrated as he himself had spent 45 minutes travelling to the property.He did offer to rearrange a viewing but I was so disappointed in the lack of organisation (how can it be that locks are changed and the letting agent/property managers are not informed?) and frustrated at the waste of my time and petrol (2 hours round trip) that I will not be using this company going forwards.I would have left 1 star but the letting agent was truly apologetic and did remain professional in the situation.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service given selling my flat in Islington. There were so many viewings in the first week it was on the market, and two offers. The particulars were hardly printed before I accepted an offer, with Dexters' help to negotiate. The sale has now exchanged. Dexters' agents were always available to talk to me and to keep showing people, including my purchaser, around, and they kept me informed. The photos Dexters took were fantastic. Staff never rushed me and work longish hours, it seems, because they like their jobs.

A huge ‘Than you’ to Paris Marshall Senior Property Manager at Dexters for his speedy response, kindness, attentiveness and professionalism. Paris arranged for the Khinda Building Works Ltd to attend our premises to conduct some repairs. I was very impressed with the contractor’s skills to resolve three different repairs within such a short time. The communication was smooth and the contractor was very punctual. I would not recommend them if they were the only estate agents in the area. We sold a flat using Dexters, but from start to finish found the whole experience truly terrible. Within a few days of signing a contract with them, and before going on the market we got told they had massively overvalued the property. Apparently market conditions had changed in under a week- but it appears pretty shameless to overvalue and once securing the business reducing the asking price. Disappointing at best, bordering on fraudulent at worst. This was only the beginning of terrible service - with unscheduled viewings and incredibly late cancellations the norm. If you’re selling go with another company

10/10 for effort at business winning 0/10 for performance!…

We were badgered by Dexter’s for years so decided last summer to instruct them on a letting. They over promised on the rent they could achieve so we missed the window to secure tenants before the autumn. We also then instructed them to sell as we were receiving no rent . They failed to produce a single credible offer on either basis. We instructed Goldschmidts who found a buyer and at a strong price within a matter of weeks. I’m prompted to write today as we received probably the third cold call from Dexters as the old property is now for rent via the new owners . We told Dexters on at least 2 previous occasions that we had sold the property so I wish they could be more efficient/ professional in all they do.

I had my inspection today with Monika and I honestly just wanted to give some feedback… I have only had her as my property manager for a matter of months but cannot fault her work rate, effort or dedication! I have used this estate agent incompetent stafffor…

I have used this estate agent for letting my property for nearly 4 years. For the first three years, I couldn’t fault them, but the staff have Changed hands and I would not recommend them. The majority of staff are incompetent they make so many mistakes and their Fees are high. I did complain to the director and it was a waste of my time. My last tenancy agreement they failed to put in a break clause and I’m now unable to break free of them unless I give them vast amounts of money. Although I have to ride this out, I will not be using them again in the future. I do not recommend them.
