GoogleThese guys worked really hard and persisted in finding us a buyer for our house. Scott was relentless and was always open and gave frank and honest advice - makes a big difference relative to other agents. If you are selling in Islington - the team there are the market leaders and have a strong hold on the local market.

Asha provided assistance with resolving hot water issue in my property which was a similar issue incurred less than a year previously. After an initial quote, she followed up with the original contractor and co-ordinated an efficient and effective solution at a realistic cost.

GoogleI would persuade anyone I know not to use Chesterton, even to anti this company, because the whole rent experience for me is not only miserable and unimaginable, but their attitude to me during the whole process , from the clerk, to the manger, proved that they treat me as nothing, a totally humiliation, without any respects at all, just kept repeating they could do nothing after drag you into a swamp. At the beginning, I rented this flat because I trusted Chestertons and their self-representation as something akin to high-end. But once they received your upfront six-month rent,they claimed nothing they could do more, and I was left on my own to deal with the difficult landlord. The agent of Chestertons had knowingly rented me a very problematic flat ( later, I shockingly found out a ventilator hiding in the head of the bed, contaminated water with mold running in bathroom, and some unknown object constantly striking the ceiling). Whenever I contacted them, they were abusively manipulating the form of formal language to deny any constructive communication. As a result, I have this long held fury towards their nonstop self-justification for doing nothing.
Hi Danielle, As we have previously mentioned, your tenancy is not managed by Chestertons, and therefore any existing issues you have will need to be resolved directly with your landlord now the tenancy has ended. I am aware that David, Lettings Manager, has been in touch with you and offered his advice, making you aware that you are able to raise any issues with the Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) if you are struggling to resolve this matter. We wish you all the best and hope you are able to come to a conclusion you feel is fair. Unfortunately we are unable to action anything any further and are sorry we can not be of any further assistance to you, but will be happy to offer any advice if needed as to how is best to deal with the problems you are facing.

GoogleDo not rent from them! After being a wonderful and paying tenant for over 3 years, we had moved out and had our place professionally cleaned and all bits repaired etc. They then tried to take £446 out of our deposit for random nonsense stuff that they claimed needed fixing, including a £216 charge for cleaning the property. We had 2 people clean for 4 hours (for around £100) only a day before. Completely criminal how they are trying to make their fees here and there. If they respond to this with justification etc... it's all BS, as I've worked in the industry for 14 years. And this is clearly just how they make an extra couple hundred quid from each tenant, knowing they'll just acquiesce and move on. Avoid.
