GoogleAvoid! They cost me £252 more than my last agents and they provided a sub-standard service. I had to repeatedly email them to arrange viewings, they did nothing special and used photocopied contracts that were hardly legible. When I moved in the flat had not even been dusted and the toilet showed signs of recent usage!

Tenant's fees are available to view on our web site and you can consider these before deciding to visit a property with us.
You enquired to view the property on Sunday the 22nd at 8.04 PM. We replied to your enquiry on Monday the 23rd at 10.18 AM. I’m sorry if you feel this response time was not adequate.
Our contracts are emailed in PDF format prior to signature. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We will review using digitally signed copies.
Some of the properties we deal with are "let only" and managed by the landlords. I’m sorry to hear the property you moved into was “dusty”. Although this was the landlords responsibility we always encourage tenants to contact us after move in with feedback. If you had made us aware of this fact we would of course spoken to the landlord on your behalf.

Alex helped us with the sale of our apartment in a tricky market. He has been very responsive throughout, flexible on viewings and very helpful with advice right from agreeing the initial asking price and all the way until exchanging the contracts.
The sale process has taken longer than we (and Alex probably too) wished for, due to reasons outside of the agent’s control, but the guys at AW Childs have been very professional and attentive throughout, even when it seemed like the transaction may not happen at the end.
All in all, we would definitely recommend this agent and we would be using them again if we were to sell/let our property in and around Angel.

GoogleI decided to rent out my apartment in the Barbican and A.W. Childs coincidentally had just posted a promotional leaflet through my door that exact same day. Following my call, Alex popped by almost immediately and could not have been more knowledgeable, enthusiastic and highly-charged at the prospect of finding tenants to rent out our flat. He had potential tenants lined up and through the door the moment I instructed him. He found an excellent tenant within a week at the full asking price. My circumstances then changed and I decided not to rent out the flat which he took well when I broke the news to him. I was embarrassed considering the amount of marketing and time Alex and Mark had put in. I am going to rent out the flat early next year and will use A.W. Childs exclusivity. I couldn't recommend them more highly specifically for their honesty, enthusiasm, communication and integrity.
