GoogleMy partner and I have used the services of the lettings team in Oxford to rent out our property, and have had nothing but a great experience with them. They always find pleasant tenants and quickly too, which ensures we don’t have any void periods. Very knowledgable, professional and supportive. Will never use anybody else to rent our properties!

GoogleGenerally they are fine. HOWEVER I have been a tenant for one year and several times they have performed some maintenance without scheduling a time with me. They just send their workman to do the job without giving me 24hrs notice. First their excuse was "oh we tried calling but you didn't pick up". Well I have no reception at work. The lack of response doesn't mean you just enter anyway. I told them to contact me via e-mail as I check that every 30 mins. To quote one of their agents Simon Smith: “Dear Raj Thank you for the email and again I am very sorry I have made sure that the key is never given out without your approval, I will also make everyone aware that email is better Kind regards Simon” Yet today I find that they again allowed access without providing me any notice. If you value your privacy and your rights as a tenant avoid this agency because they clearly do not understand this little thing that we're all supposed to abide by...the law!

FacebookHad a great experience with Richard james, sold on first viewing within a day or so. Though out the process april was amazing helping with any bump in the road we had quickly and was on the ball chasing things not once did I have to give anyone a nudge. She explained every procedure but most importantly kept me calm. I was impressed with Richard James throughout the whole process but April deserves a medal lol. Thank you all for the help!

FacebookWe rented from these con artists for 5 years paying money on top of our rent for maintainace we waited 4 years for them to come and paint exterior this didn't happen the bungalow was like a butcher's freezer so called double glazing was knackered the rent went up and up and up so we left the cheeky con artist charged us £400 for damaged carpet which was like it when we moved in and the cheeky f_cker said there was a flea infestation and know I hear they have won an award for their con shop what the f_ck be warned con artist stay well clear

GoogleI would not recommend them. Initially excellent service when I was trying to choose an agent, and they did find a tenant. However, once the tenant was in place the service was definitely lacking. They were unable to resolve persistent late payment issues regardless of repeated promises to ensure the tenant had standing order in place, and were of no real assistance with solving problems with the same difficult tenant who then needed to be removed. I would not describe it as a fully managed service, and despite paying a monthly fee felt on my own and that the property was not being managed properly.

It was a complicated sale but Richard helped explain every hurdle that we encountered along the way. The sales agents were always friendly and very professional, the whole team at the Rushden office were a pleasure to deal with and i would recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their house. FacebookWe recently moved house within Rushden, 4 people in the chain and with the help of everyone at Richard James we were able to get our house listed / agree a sale / exchange / complete within 4 months! From beginning to end they have been professional yet friendly, helping to explain the entire process (we had only ever bought before and never sold), and quality images and brochures really helped our house stand out from the rest. Even when the chain slowed up Richard and the team helped move things along, assisting with solicitor liaison and we achieved an 11-week sale-to-completion timeline. Genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough, and every team member makes the process of moving house that bit more manageable. Thanks guys and girls! ���
