Was initially attracted to this firm due to the appeal of locality to our home, unfortunately this did not work out as one had hoped. Initially all was well, I had an initial meeting early 2023 with Laura about my setting up my Dad's Power of Attorney. My Dad gave them his current details for her to assist with what was already a very delicate and time-sensitive issue due to his deteriorating health.Unfortunately since then it has been impossible to try and since regain contact to progress my Dad's Power of Attorney further. Whenever I or my Dad call I'm always told she is "not available" or "in a meeting" or some other line told over and over again. I would understand if this meant waiting only a month however it has been over six months which I do not believe to be acceptable whatsoever. I was hoping for the Power of Attorney to be progressing or at least receive any form of contact, however this has not been the case. My Dad, myself, my siblings - my entire family - has been left to pick up the pieces of the fallout since then.The services promised on their website and in the meeting have not matched up whatsoever with mine and my Dad's experience with Munro & Noble. After waiting patiently for over six months, we have had to start looking elsewhere due to the situation with my Dad's health deteriorating since then. This experience has made a stressful family situation exacerbate tenfold and I will certainly not recommend Munro & Noble or ever use their goods and services again due to my familys experience. If I could suggest any improvements it would he to keep the billing customers in a loop and provide ongoing updates as was promised in my Dad's initial meeting. Another suggestion would be for it easier to contact Laura instead of other staff answering phones telling us for month after month she's "unavailable right now". If such procedures had put in place, it would have been a much more pleasant experience for everyone involved.

GoogleCan't thank Hamish or Hazel enough for all their help with purchasing our first home. They both made the whole process easier for us and anything that we were unsure about they took the time to phone or email. We would recommend Munro and Noble, and would definitely go back to them in the future.

GoogleMy father was with Munro & Noble for 30 years and up to this point had a good experience. Unfortunately, with some new staff in place our negative experience of the company meant he moved to a different solicitor. We looked to have the fairly simple process of being gifted a piece of land carried out, using solicitors within the same company. This should have meant a speedier process, maybe taking a month or two at most, but 7 months on and we had to pester the solicitors with emails in order to hear from them and move things along. We were met with various excuses as well as documents needing re-signed since they'd lost them, or it had taken so long for them to process it that the document had expired. Had we not hounded them for things to progress, it would have had a significant financial effect on us. We won't be using them again and it's a shame to see what was a good local company slip in it's handling of clients. The one positive from the experience was that it didn't cost as much as we had expected - but that may be due to the dissatisfaction of the service.
